I don’t often review but I’ve read bad reviews about this but it’s unwarranted. The only bad thing about this is that it doesn’t include the jumper pin you need to be able to get it into did mode and then flash using the standard Voron documentation. Other than that this flashed easily and took a standard configuration.

The first thing is that you must flash the firmware on this screen to use it. Which, there are plenty of guides on and it's not difficult. My display was very streaky at first, however, I changed lcd_type: to ssd1306 from sh1106 and I uncommented vcomh and changed its value from 0 to 31 and it's been fine ever since

PITA to set up, but follow the instructions and it fires up fine. No pin headers on this, which I prefer because soldering is better than crimping.

This board works, but you're probably better off getting the LDO Display instead. This one requires a custom case design that's different than the original. And the headers for boot and the USB port on the back aren't populated, and they're extremely difficult to solder yourself because the board is already populated. Also, the D+ and D- pins might be labeled backwards, but it's hard to tell because there's so many conflicting images on Google.

The picture on this item clearly shows the boot pin header that is soldered on the board. Mine did not come with this soldered on. How am I supposed to flash the board with no boot pin header on the board? You can't solder this on because the LCD blocks the solder pads. Item is not as shown!

The FYSETC Voron V0 Display is a tiny display meant for use with a Voron V0 3D printer but can probably be adapted to any 3D printer controlled by a Raspberry Pi device running Klipper. The board comes well packaged with no instructions. Neither are instructions very easy to find, but are available on GitHub for "V0_Display". The board by the way, comes either unprogrammed or with a firmware too old to be used or recognized. When received, the board is indistinguishable from dead or inactive, that is to say plugging it into the Pi results in no lights, sound or display. The only sign of life is that Raspberry Pi can find it on the USB bus if you query it.After attaching the non-populated "Boot" jumper header followed by the extensive compiling and flashing of the firmware, AND correctly configuring Klipper, the display jumps right to life and operates as expected. All of this said, this is part and parcel of building a Voron printer. If you got the machine together and running up to the point of wanting the optional display, this will give you another interesting challenge. The reward of getting this tiny display working is well worth the effort.... IF you enjoy the challenge. If, on the other hand, you want something that just works out of the box, don't buy it! Also, by extension, don't build a Voron!

This is a copy of an older revision of the design from the creator of the original Voron mini display. Unfortunately, Fysetc used different sized buttons and a different encoder. This means the display does not fit in the case that is provided by the PCB creator.EDIT: I also discovered that the reset/kill button was not working. I was able to solder a patch wire to get it working. I am not sure if the one I got was just defective, or if this was a flaw in the PCB design that Fysetc copied. In any event, do yourself a favor and buy the LDO version of this display.
