The gloves are exactly as the reviews say. They are very thin and light. I didn't think they would work as oven mitts. I baked a quiche and used them to take it out of the oven. I felt no heat around my hands and none where I touched the quiche pan. I've been looking for a long time and have never found cooking mitts to fulfill the claims but these definitely do. I've even bought another pair as a gift.

These are terrible. If I use to remove anything hot I will be burned. Not as advertised. Not eligible for refund.

I've been doing a lot of single-serve baking with ramakins lately which can be difficult to take out of the oven with potholders. These work perfectly and ensure that you don't burn your knuckles on the oven rack which is a common occurrence for me. The material is thinner than my old "ove glove" which allows for a greater degree of dexterity. Overall, really quality product at a really great price!Oh, and the size is perfect for women and children!

Just like a previous reviewer, I thought these gloves looked too flimsy, loosely knitted and inexpensive. I decided to trust the reviewer and try them anyway, I'm glad I did. The gloves worked perfectly. So much so, that I decided to also write a review reinforcing the first, because that review helped me make a decision to try the gloves. Hopefully my review will help someone else.

These work great for my microwave kiln. Just dont walk to far with the hot product, as it will eventually let the heat through.

I use these when I am making BBQ (at home or for a competition). I put a pair of large latex gloves on over these and they provide the perfect amount of protection to allow me to pull pork or handle the brisket/ribs without burning my hands.I have washed them in the washer machine several times and they have held up great. Once they get dirty, they don't tend to get very clean (even when I bleached them), but that's not a problem for me.

When I received the gloves in the mail my first thought was how are these going to protect my hands from something as hot as the microwave kiln, they are so thin. To my surprise I could barely feel the warmth of my small kiln when transferring from microwave to counter. They are perfectly designed for such a thing and when the time comes to replace the pair (which will be a long time) then I will purchase them again.
