I replaced over 30 face-frame cabinet hinges in kitchen and bath, converting to European style soft close. My cabinet sizes range from very small to pantry size. These generally work really well. My only complaint and the reason for losing one star is that, being face frame cabinets (mine are oak plywood) with less mounting area than frameless, it would have been really really nice if there was more than just a single screw holding the hinge to the face frame. If they were designed with some 'wings' sticking out so you can get 2 screws per hinge into the face frame, it would make them so much stronger and better. This is definitely their Achilles heel, although other manufacturers make the same mistake. I find that if you open the door 'normally' and let go of the door before it's fully open, it tends to want to spring all the way open to its limit, putting pressure on the hinge mount when it bounces as it reaches the end of travel. If it didn't have this springy-ness and/or if there were more and stronger mounting screws, it wouldn't worry me much. But we will see how they stand the test of time. All I could do for now is compensate by using longer screws into the cabinet frame but there's only so much face frame to work with and it's plywood, so that's not ideal.

I was NOT happy that these hinges caused the doors to stand away from the cabinet 3/8 inch on the hinge side of the door while the other side is flush against the cabinet. Spent to much money on changing all these and installing them. Looks terrible.

These hinges appear to be well made. They operate smoothly and quietly. They are adjustable and it is reasonably easy to adjust for mating left and right cabinet doors. I have purchased several sets and each one is consistent.

Love how easy these three-quarter inch hinges are to install. Just like the half inch overhang hinges I’ve used in the past great adjustability for fine-tuning the door position. Once hardware’s installed. The Kregg tool worked great for drilling out the hinge pockets. Use a 3 mm offset if you’re using the kregg jig tool. This will achieve the dimensions for the 3/16 center location of the pocket hole from the edge of the door. I bought three-quarter inch overlay hinges for a side mount application instead of the traditional front mount application. These hinges were much cheaper and worked really well and very easy to install compared to other flush mount hinges see pictures for how I installed them. I use the clamp to press the hinges into the side of the wood to help locate it when setting the screw.

Perfect fit and super easy to install. You can also adjust the speed of the soft close and make fine tune adjustments. Great quality.

After reading many of the reviews, of this hinge and other hinges, some customers say that 1 hinge worked for each door and when using 2 the door closed way too slow. My doors required 2 hinges except the really small doors above the stove and above the refrigerator. The hinges work very well and close at a perfect (to me) speed. Very easy to install. Took me a couple of minutes per hinge. They fit perfectly. Make sure you have the correct overlay. I watched a yt video on how to measure the overlay but your original hinges should have it on the hinge itself. I will be ordering more to finish off my kitchen and replace all the bathroom cabinet hinges.

Very easy to work with. You do need the jig, but the hinges are great, totally adjustable. Makes my work look more professional and saves a LOT of time.

These worked well but the holes did not line up with the originally drilled holes. My cabinet doors actually had plastic plugs that the screws were screwed into. The doors are twenty years old and the holes were about a 1/16 inch off. I had to use a razor knife to cut the plastic plugs flush with the door. Once I did that the hinge would sit flat to the door and screws could be inserted at a slight angle. I tried another brand hinge and the holes did not line up either. These Grass hinges were the original brand used on the doors.Cheaper hinges used plastic liner where the springs press on housing. These are metal to metal which caused some wear particles over twenty years to stain the wood in the hinge hole.
