Worked exactly as described. Was very easy to place under a large sofa bed and moved with ease. The lip on each of the wheels assisted in keeping the furniture on the dolly without rolling off.

Everything in the kit is great and heavy duty EXCEPT the “duffle bag”. I was given a very thin, medium to small sized drawstring bag instead of the bag pictured. Would have been 5 stars if it came with what is pictured. This bag will not last long do to the weight of the dollies alone.

When I examined the dollies' 'brake' mechanism, I discovered they will NOT prevent the wheeled dolly from moving. Why? Because each dolly has 5 wheels, but only 2 wheels have a "lock" mechanism, & when you lock those 2 locks, the other 3 wheels withOUT lock mechanisms are still able to move the dolly. Second poor design: the lock mechanism itself. It is too flimsy to work correctly if a heavy object is placed on the dolly.

This dolly set is amazing. It didn’t roll great on carpet, but we were able to lift a king sleigh bed and pull the carpet out of the way. The rollers don’t work great on carpet, but work great on the cement slab. So glad we ordered the set.

From time to time, we need to move a desk, sofa, cabinet, etc., which can be heavy even when partially or wholly unloaded. This set was ordered because of the extra center support because of the 5th wheel, the lifting lever/handle, and storage case. This helps us do these types of moves.

I purchased to help move heavy furniture around my house after I used traditional plastic slides on the items. I wanted something easier. There is a learning curve to using these. First, they are not good on plush carpet. We tried moving a sofa-after placing the sofa's feet on the dollies, the sofa would not move with the dollies. In fact, the sofa was pushed right off the dollies, tearing the protective felt mat we placed on the dollies (comes with the set). Once we moved the sofa closer to the hardwood, we could place the dollies on the feet and it was very easily moved around. I could not say if these would work on other types of carpet.Second, the dollies have lips on 2 sides as a guide to help furniture from sliding off the dollies. We found the ideal position for the furniture was more in the center of the dolly, putting weight on the center wheel. When we put furniture to the edge, the dollies often just slid out of place when trying to move the piece. Finally, we did not use the lifting mechanism to place the furniture on the dollies-we just didn't need it. I would guess, it also has a learning curve. I'd recommend going slow, so not to damage furniture. The lip on the lift is small. As a whole, it was easier to move furniture around using the dollies compared to plastic slides. However, I did expect them to work on any surface, and that was not the case.
