Decent shelves for the price. You will need a hammer for the white nylon inserts and you will have to clean up a lot of Styrofoam fluff that breaks away from the packaging material. The cardboard backing tears very easily at the crease, so be careful opening that part. The vertical rows of holes in the backing aren't quite far enough apart, resulting in a lot of tears they were surprisingly sturdy once assembled, which mostly makes up for the shortcomings.

This was easy to assemble. One of the plastic nails for the back broke when I was putting it in, but it didn’t affect the final product. Fits perfectly in the space I bought it for. The backing was a little flimsy, but does the job.

Easy to put together, I did use a mallet, lightly tapped the plastic pieces in to make sure it was tight as possible. I'm using it to hold snacks, not sure how much weight I'll put on it, it's not flimsy but I don't want to stress it. May buy a second one, it's a cute little shelf!

Be careful assembling this. Two dowels snapped off in the process and they don’t send any extras so then you gotta run to Home Depot to get a box of 100. It’s an alright looking little shelf but assembly is a delicate process and you have to be mindful of the 10 lb limit per shelf. I’m not even putting that much.The instructions say the “hardware” (made of wood and plastic) can be put in by hand with your thumb but I found that I needed a mallet for the plastic pieces. I tapped VERY gently as it felt like one swift hit would break the whole thing.This is perfect for my mini office area in my bedroom. I wouldn’t recommend it for a kids room or for anyone who needs to store a lot of heavy stuff or will be hard on it. It’s more for looks and holding little lightweight trinkets and things, maybe small clothing items or something.

I bought this used so that I can have a shelf to put all my tarot cards on. Overall, it meets my needs and wasn't the hardest thing in the world to assemble, but it did require tools. Maybe some people can do it without them, but for me, it made the job easier. Also, a couple of the screws were broken, but because this came used, and I was able to improvise, it's not a big deal. The shelf fits perfectly next to my desk and I'm happy with it. Also the price was good for me and it arrived on schedule, so I'm giving it 5 stars.

Arrived with a scratched shelf and ripped backing. The backing is just thin cardboard. It also says no tools required, but you need a hammer to put the pegs and such in. Definitely not worth $60.

I do understand these are amazon specials..That does not account for them to be a heavy product that amazon drivers would rather throw around then treat with respect. (understanding break)That being said they are stored in a warehouse where their main objective is not furniture. (I HOPE)These are garbage, yes they do go together.. they do stand up.However thats it.Piece's do not line up with the hole they provide you you have to make things work as you go.The majority of corners are damaged when you open the box, any stickers for labeling peel the paint back.takes 3x as long to build. due to things not working together they way they should be and the way the directions describeand more than anything, once you build them prepare to throw them away when you move.they will not come back apart without shattering pieces' due to the oversized threaded lock down nuts.and to be honest they would never make even the simplest of a moving day.Reaching out to amazon wont matter they wont replace anything they want them returned nut they would literally fall apart to take back apart, then to be expected to pick up the deck of cards and return them in the box they came in, remember that box from amazon warehouse with a ton of other things there and what not. 50lbs shelves are not a top priority of them around there (understanding pause)Once these shelves arrive at your door the boxes will be barely hanging on. GOOD LUCK AND GODSPEED.After a week not response from anyone guess ill live with these shelves until i throw them out of a window..save your money buy something better. anything just not these..I am extremely disappointed with this purchase..

The color, finish, and design of this bookshelf is exactly what I was looking for - simple, classic, and elegant. And to be fair the instructions for assembly were really well written and the finished product looked fine as long as you didn't look in detail. But there are small scratches in the paneling and despite tight screws there are some gaps in the assembled product (image three for example). I would have been ok with the minor flaws except as soon as I stood the assembled cabinet up I realized that it is not structially sound. Can it hold the recommended weights on each shelf, probably yes, but once I put books into the shelf it would lean to the left or right and the whole thing wobbled slightly. The problem is with the middle panel, that connection just doesn't have the structural integrity to support the full weight of the assembled bookshelf by itself (if you look at the first image you can tell that even without anything on it, it leans a little to the side), needless to say with books on the shelf. My better judgment had me immediately disassemble the bookshelf. Ironically, half of the product stands really stable and looks more quality than the whole shelf... I will be requesting a refund because the whole situation is a little hilarious and definitely very ridiculous in terms of quality.

Happy with the shelf. Not super sturdy but reasonable for the price I paid. The backing cardboard was ripped when it came but doesn’t impact the function of the shelf once installed. Perfect size to display my daughter’s Lovevery Toy collection so that she can access them herself. Can’t comment on durability yet but I’m satisfied with how it looks.
