In theory I think it should be great and work well. The downfall is the or crinkles pretty loud and we have an anxious dog and the noise scared him and he wouldn’t go on his bed, we ended up having to return the item due to this

I purchased 3 of these liners to go with the 3 new Furhaven beds I got for our newly adopted puppy who is not yet potty trained. I get water resistant materials can be tricky but this cover makes quite a bit of noise when my puppy moves around on it. My husband is a light sleeper so gets woken up by the pup moving around on his bed at night. Once the pup is potty trained, we'll be removing the liners. I should have stuck with PetFusion beds, whose liners are included and more importantly, not noisy.

I have two older dogs, one has accidents in his crate usually once or more a day and the other periodically. I have to change my chihuahua's bedding once or daily. I am currently using a 24-in Kong bed and I purchased this to protect it because I was washing it several times a week. Unfortunately they don't make this in a smaller dog bed size so I purchased the smallest size I could get and I typically roll or fold the excess over. It's quite crinkly and makes noise so you definitely want to cover it with something nice and comfortable for your dog. I have three-layer process. This goes over the bed and then I use a boring pee mattress. On top of that, a decorative one. This may be overkill but it protects the bed and it keeps my dogs comfortable. This even when it's not wet can absorb smells. A Lysol wipe or disinfectant spray works wonders. I typically let it air dry and then put the mattress covers on and we're good to go again.

We purchased this item last month and it already has a rip at the seam. We tried reaching out to customer service only to get a voice recording and no way to leave a message. We thought it would be a good idea to purchase the water-resistant liner to extend the life of the foam mattress but it is useless if it doesn't even last 2 months. Our bed liner has never gotten wet either. What a waste!

Happy I was able to purchase a cover for the phone part of the dog bed,it doesn't crinkle, it doesn't make a lot of noise. Had to wash the cover twice already and the foam stayed nice and dry. I they had one for the edge or bunting also.

My puppy was peeing in the bed, and to clean the foam is a hassle. This cover made a big difference. Strangely enough, my puppy stopped peeing in the bed after we installed this cover. She still uses the bed all the time, and seems to love it.
