This is a replacement transformer to fix a non working front doorbell. Make sure you check your old one before ordering so that you get one with the correct voltage required for your doorbell. Inexpensive, and easy to install. I recommend and would purchase again.

Used this for my ring doorbell cam and it works great. Same exact specs and build but cheaper than the one recommended by the ring store and others being sold on amazon. Good deal!

Needed to replace our original 1986 doorbell transformer because the adt doorbell camera was having issues. This was one of the least expensive I found with decent reviews. There are no instructions provided. You literally get the transformer in a box. It was thrown in a big Amazon box with no packaging but that’s a different story. I just took the old one out wire by wire and hooked up the new one as I went. I was frustrated when the doorbell didn’t work but then I switched the wires and it worked. Would be nice to label the screws! All in all can’t complain. It works and was inexpensive. Hope it lasts.

The unit was packaged in small white factory box and was packed in Amazon box with blown up spacers as Amazon normally does. Unit shifted around in box, but no damage to the unit itself. Installed easily and works with my Ring doorbell. The only thing I would suggest is since this unit is probably ordered specifically for people to upgrade to a Ring doorbell, they might want to include typical replacement instructions. The unit I took out had only two wires and was grounded to the utility box. This unit came with three wires. Did some internet searches and found that is typically the case, and the green (3rd) wire could be capped or attached to ground post. I capped it off and all is working as expected.
