Simplistic, but fun game that is suitable for friends and family, camping, at a bar! The game rules are simple and easy to understand, and children, teenagers, and adults can enjoy the fun. If you enjoy gambling, you can always throw in an added bet or two along the way!The idea of the game is to be the first person to get rid of all of their coins. As long as you have a little strategy and a lot of luck, you just might win!The game is for 2+ players. Each player needs 12 pennies to start with. ( not included in the game)1. Determine who will play first by rolling a dice for each player. The player with the highest number goes first; Then the game proceeds in a clockwise direction2. Players roll the dice and must place a coin into the game board slot corresponding to the number displayed on the dice.3) If there is already a coin in the number thrown by the player, they must take away all the coins displayed on the game box, and then their turn ends and it’s the next players turn.4. Players must roll the dice at least once, but can roll the dice any number of times until they get stuck according to Rule 3.Hole 6 allows coins to enter the box, so you can throw as many 6s as possible without being punished6. The game continues until a player runs out of coins and wins! The coins will be redistributed to start the next game.An interesting way to bet on a game is for each player to put a sum of money into the box before the game starts. The winner will receive the “pot”!!Yep, very simplistic fun!

The game comes in a nice balsa wood box which is also a component to the game; 1 page of instructions for the games Gonggi (Squid Game) and a penny game; 5 plastic Gonggi stones - 2 with triangles (green and yellow) two with circles (red and blue) and one with a square (purple) just like the symbols one sees on a play station controller's buttons; and 5 6 sided dice of various colors - red, green, white, tan, and yellow. Not included are the 12 pennies needed to play the penny game. These are Korean children's school yard games that are featured in the TV show Squid game. The games are simple and take just a couple minutes to play a round. If you search on the Internet you can find variants to Gonggi. Also, there are a few people that use dice instead of the Gonggi stones for the first game which is an additional benefit of having the 5 multi-colored dice though the rules do not make this option clear. At any rate, it's a nice quality set.

Not only is this a fun game to play but, it's small enough to throw in your bag and take with you. So well made and the presentation is great with the nice colorful pieces. Haven't attempted to teach my granddaughter yet but, the adults have had fun! Great price point for a game you can take on the go and that will last a long time.

Great novelty gift and very much liked the simplicity of the box being someone who does crafts and arts. The wood is quality you might find at a hobby store in the shape of an anchor, cat, etc. The dice also look just like the ones in Squid game + a bonus set of d6

This game set brought back fond memories from my childhood in Korea! The wooden box is nicely made and compact, easy to store or carry around. It includes dice and "stones" for traditional-style games that are simple and enjoyable, even for beginners. The "gonggi" or weighted balls holds up well and weighs around the same as what I used to play with growing up. The addition of the "Squid Games" didn't really do anything for me, but it still serves its purpose well.Overall, it's a charming and casual game perfect for gatherings, offering genuine fun with a touch of Korean nostalgia. Definitely recommend!

This game set is simple but appealing. The accompanying instruction manual clearly explains the rules and actions of both games. I had a nine-year-old and her adult uncle try it out, and even though they are both somewhat sophisticated gamers, they liked it. The penny game could be played by almost any age because there is little strategy involved: it depends mostly on the throw of the dice. 10-12 pennies per player must be supplied. After playing it according to the rules, my gamers decided to stack three pennies in each round indentation in the lid to give each player more chances to throw sixes. The Squid game takes some skill. It is a little like the old-time game of jacks where you throw something up and pick up other things before it comes down. The nine-year-old got to level 2; the adult uncle got to level 5. After playing a few times by the rules, they tried a new game: throwing all the dice at once to see who could get the largest or the smallest number when adding them. It is likely that there are even more ways to play with the game parts than they discovered. All the components of both games fit into a small, nicely constructed, easily transported wooden box. If no parts are lost, the game will probably last forever! It is a good game to pull out when you want to have fun but don’t feel like having to think very hard. It would be a good game for families with children of different ages. The list price of almost $20.00 for this set seems a little high, but the current 41% off makes it well worth the money.
