The candles are smaller then I expected, but as a set with the string of beads in a glass vase they were great centerpieces for my event! The gold foil did start to peel up on the bottoms of most of the candles after being in the water for about 5 hours. So the candles are a one time use in my opinion. Some of the bead strands were fused together at the beads and I was unable to separate them. I needed 12 and 3 strands out of the 20 were fused together so just note if you need all 20 separated that might be an issue. That is why I am giving these a 4 star not a 5 star review.

The candles only stayed lit for maybe an hour. We purchased different ones that stayed lit for 6 joira
