It’s a great product. First time myself installing one myself… I went through 3 ribbon cables and had some user error but overall it’s a great shell!

This is way too expensive. I should've bought it straight from china. The rubber stoppers for the screen will probably be messed up so be warned. Other than that it fit well.

Housing a ride with everything you need to swap quality of the plastic is good. Texture Feels good in your hands.

It scratches easy but so what. Everything else is VERY similar to the original Nintendo shell. Even the injection molding dimples are in similar spots. I can play my DS again!

Just recived mine and first impression it looks perfect everything is here that i need to repair my old one my biggest surprise was that it has a stylus with it which i didnt know about you will have to supply from the broken one some of the internals as well as the hinge parts

The quality’s fine considering how cheap these are. The following are the problems o had assembling this:The hinge holes were too small. I had to sand the inside of the down AND use silicone grease to get the hinges through (and it was still insanely hard). Remember to apply constant pressure.Next up- the buttons are loose. The power button and d-pad wiggle by themselves because they’re loose, I assume it’s because the shell isn’t a tight enough fit.Volume button. Ok so this set comes with a replacement slider to match the color of the shell, but the volume sliders of most DS’s can’t be taken off, so it’s unusable (I may try brute force ripping the old slider off to see if I can switch them out). The issue tho is that the old slider is thicker than the new one and when you close the bottom half of the shell it brushes up against the slider so hard that you can’t move it.Also the bottom half of the shell doesn’t fit that well, there are gaps.That’s all I have to say for now. These are passable if you are desperate like me, and they’re nice and cheap.
