Got this for our 4 year old after we got his 8yr old brother a standard snorkel and mask. we felt at his age he may struggle a bit more with a standard 2 piece snorkel or if he dips the snorkel underwater and take in a lung full of water. When we saw this thought it would be perfect and it wont let you take in water if the snorkel gets submerged. The 4yr old does like using this but i'll tell you what so does the 8year old mostly because he can still talk inside the mask. Next spring we may order up another for him to use if this one still fits him when we dig the beach toys out next spring.

This product is as described. The material seems quality and has held up over summer usage. The kids like it because they don't have to worry about water in their face. Key point..make it fit tight or it will leak in water. We share it with brother and sister and have to refit the straps to fit their face. Straps on this one fit a little wonky but I think it's because we have to keep readjusting them. We need to order another one and it will solve the problem. Good find. Good price.

This fall face snorkel mask was easy to assemble and put on. It is not really that comfortable. Leakage, you don’t get any because you have to tighten the mask. The only problem that I had this was for the tightening straps. I don’t like how it is at all.

Nicely built, cute full face mask with check valve. I had snagged it for my 5 year granddaughter, but it is a little too large for her. It will be a few years before she can wear it, and she is a bit of a string bean.I had my daughter model it, and it fit her incredibly well. She is petite, but it is quite contrasting.The face seals well, and its was easy to adjust.Just be mindful of the size of the child's face. If they are too slender it may not work.

I discovered this style of full-face snorkel a couple of years ago, and it was a game-changer for me. So, when my little guy had trouble swimming because he was afraid of putting his face under the water, I knew this would be a good solution. I knew how he felt, because I had a near-drowning when I was young, and another snorkel-related trauma when I was about his age (10). The full-face mask solves this.You can't accidentally aspirate water using this snorkel, because of the ball valve at the top of the snorkel. If you're under water too far, you just can't draw any air in. But there's no danger of sucking in water.Also, another advantage that the writeup doesn't mention is that when you're wearing a face mask like this, your face becomes a plastic air bubble. This means your head is more bouyant than it would be, if you were just wearing regular goggles or no goggles at all. So, our little guy doesn't need to be afraid of sinking. With a pair of flippers and this mask, he'll definitely stay afloat. (No, the mask isn't a floatation device, but it does help you float.)This mask is well-constructed out of quality materials. I'm so sold on the design that I've ordered multiples, and for other people as well. You won't regret this purchase.

The THWTGH Full Face Snorkel Mask for Kids is adorable. It is a good way to introduce kids to being under water. My 4.5 year old grandson loves being in the water but he is fearful of being under the water and getting water in his nose and mouth. I ordered this mask for him in the hopes that he would enjoy being underwater if he could breathe. He is working on and making progress. At first he was unsure about the mask, even though it is a cute shark face, it is sort of large and a little cumbersome for a small boy. Once he got used to wearing it out of the water, we tried it under the water and once we adjusted the straps, it worked well and it did not leak. He is gradually getting used to the mask and overcoming his fear of being under water.The mask itself works well. The breathing tube is on the top of the mask and it is long. The straps are easy to adjust and they are comfortable and don't dig into your head. The view through the mask is fairly wide and clear. The water squirt feature is cute and fun when the little shark "spits" water out of its mouth. It works 2 ways, with the filled water bottle attached or it works continually when under water by attaching the tubing. We had a little trouble getting the spray started but once it is primed, it works well.This is a cute, functional and fun mask and a great way to introduce your little swimmer to the world of snorkeling.

Fit's as expected on my little, looks like a shark and comes with a storage bag. Great for the pool or snorkeling in the tub, it's comfortable and the visibility is great. Nice quality and very easy to put on and off.
