won't fit 1992 trail boss with original screws (valve shoulder too close to screw holes). may work with socket head cap screws without lock washers. I'm sending mine back.

The stock screw would not fit. Had to change to socket head screws to make it work. FYI mine needed 1/4" -20 screws

This was listed as not fitting a 1989 Trail Boss 250, butI took a gamble and it fit up perfectly. I did have to change the screws out that secure it to the tank to a allen drive vs the larger oem phillips drive, But I believe this was the same fuel valve from 87-2005 ish. I also used this on my 1997 and fit up perfectly also.

Had to replace the fuel shutoff valve on my daughter’s 1994 Polaris 400 sport 4wheeler , the old valve was leaking .This new replacement valve does not leak , but it also does not cut off the fuel 100% to the carburetor.No leaks from the valve , but because it still allows fuel to get to the carburetor at a reduced rate , the float valve does not cut it off 100% and fuel still leaks through the overflow on the carb .I Recomend trying a different fuel shot off valve that can 100% shut the fuel off to the carb .

A simple easy part to make and bolt holes don’t even line up like come on really. Hopefully it don’t leak when I drill them out to make bigger. Sometimes just spending the money on OEm parts are worth it SMH

Haven’t had any issues with this thing. Not hard to install. Now I have reserve setting also as my old one did not work on this setting.
