The description is spotty, referring to indoor, and outdoor use. The battery box does have a seal. You can use this outdoors, (I checked that using a sink, and water in my house, too. Everything completely underwater, with the item, lights on). The timer is for six hours, but you do have the option of keeping it on. I am not going to use it by itself, but mixed in with a swag. I love it.

It’s ok, it’s just that one side of the leaves looks ok but then the other side looks super tacky fake. I tried moving the leaves around to hide the ugly side but you can’t really do that because it’s not adjustable.

This greenery added character to my kitchen window and fireplace mantel. I love that it comes with a timer. Just need to be very careful removing from very well packaging.

This is a very sturdy garland, with a lovely olive tree color and natural look. The lights are plentiful and bright. Perfect to go over the window in our kitchen.

OMG! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these so much!!! It’s absolutely perfect and really looks realistic! I could put these everywhere in my home! (It takes 3 AA batteries. I had trouble finding that information myself). If you love an organic, woodsy vibe, order these!!

I bought to provide dim lighting for our basement family room for movie nights. Perfect. Just enough light to navigate the large room but not too much to disturb viewing pleasure.Wish it had remote though

I ordered this to keep some of the "Christmas lighting" going in our living room once we took down the tree. It works very well so far. The lights are bright white. The timer feature works well. It gives the room a nice homey look. The look of the leaves on the garland is kind of cheap so I took away one star. However, when it's dark and the lights come on, it doesn't really matter.
