I learned how to crochet from this kit! The video (accessed via QR code in the instructions) is very helpful, despite the thick accent of the narrator. I like that it comes with several stitch markers and plastic yarn needles.

This kit is definitely NOT for beginners. I am a total beginner and was expecting a step by step guide or more detailed instructions. The written and video instructions are poorly translated so it was very difficult to figure out what to do (I had to use other YouTube videos) and incorrectly labeled. The yarn is also very low quality, which an experienced crocheter could probably manage but for a beginner, the yarn split a lot and it was a mess. I’m sure this is great for a more experienced crafter but I would not recommend at all for a real beginner.

The yarn splits way too easily. Also if you are a beginner, this will be difficult because the instructions are written in crochet abbreviations.

Fun gift for someone who casually crochets. I wanted something not to extremely difficult, but also better than one of plush kits you see everywhere. This came with everything you need to get this done. Totally worth it.

It’s a cute little set. Not really for beginners. The yarn is poor quality and keeps fraying. I’m on the second doilie and they don’t turn out like the pictures even using the online videos providedUse the money and buy better quality yarn and look up online videos
