I needed an FT-240-43 toroid to construct a common mode choke. This fit the bill and the price was right. The toroid arrived undamaged, although the packaging looked sketchy. The vendor could do a better job there, but this is a review of the product, not the vendor.I have no way to test if this really was a mix 43 or not, but it definitely was an FT-240! NI have no reason to believe they didn't ship ne a mix 43, but it would be nice if it was marked in some way.I wound my choke and my common mode noise issues went away, so the toroid (or is it a toe roid?) did its job.

I got two of these for my 40-6 meter EFHW. They are at both ends of the coax with 6 turns of the coax and it tunes up fine on all the bands

Used to reduce the flickering caused by a Rheem tankless water heater. I could probably use another wrap, but they're working good enough for now.

Works great, but not packaged really well for shipping. They are somewhat brittle. I ordered one of these along with all the other part I needed to build a 49:1 unun for an end-fed half-wave antenna for amateur radio. Unfortunately it was all stuffed into one of Amazon's paper envelopes, which resulted in one casualty - this toroid, which was literally snapped in half, because they put it in a bubble wrap and then into a plastic bag. Amazon gladly setup a return and replacement, but would take a week to deliver the replacement, which was a disappointment to say the least. This motivated me to place a separate order, this time for two of these instead of one, for higher power handling, and quicker delivery (and the hope that at least one of them would be good enough to build with), which was in time for me to continue my antenna project before the weather changes on me again.

Besides being damaged, the quality is nice. Need it for a new build. I was not expecting a new one to be sent. I received a notification from Amazon for an item being shipped. I thought I accidentally purchased a new one. The company shipped a new one within hours. Definitely 5 star service! And I get it the next day. So it’s fast! I might see if they have others to test and try. I use them for antennas. It’s easier to buy a new one, than to uncoil the wires. Excellent service!

I built an antenna for GMRS and needed to stop the common mode current. Prior to adding this as a choke my feedline had an SWR that floated from 1.2-1.5. Adding this with 6 wraps of coax near the antenna worked amazingly well at stabilizing the antenna system.FT-240-43 FT240-43 is the ferrite you want for UHF

Used this toroid to build a 4:1 Unun for my Rybakov vertical antenna. It worked perfectly, and I've made many contacts with it since building it in September. Particularly notable are contacts to Eastern Europe and New Zealand, from Idaho, all with 100 watts. Recommended.
