This thing is great. Not 16oz, but will hold 12. It keeps my first drink cold for a while and does okay with drink 2.

Very disappointed. I've been using these for a couple of months and really enjoying how they worked. I took one of them out of the freezer the other day and put it on the counter and heard a cracking sound. I went ahead and poured my ice tea into it. After finishing my ice tea, I saw the stain in the gel and then noticed an inch long crack on the inside of the mug. It's going into the garbage now unfortunately.

I found these to be really nice for cold drinks that I like extra cold, almost frozen. You actually get little cups of ice where your cold drink will freeze a little in the bottom.It doesn't have the staying power or speed to replace ice though. It takes a good few minutes to chill a room temp drink and then doesn't last long. It also chills from the bottom up so I usually end up impatiently drinking the top half warm.

I bought these mugs and they work great, but after a few months one of them turned brown. I contacted the seller, which he was nice about it, but he said he didn't know how we used them for this to happen.I just replied to him, stating that the mugs were frozen used, and when defrosted they were washed, nothing on our part we did wrong. He said the policy is 30 days for a refund or replacement, well if this happens after 30 days, you are out of luck.I have bought other mugs and they have lasted for years, these not even 6 months.I do not recommend buying them, as the same thing could happen to you.
