Used to cover wood deck in winter for 3 years. And only replaced it because of the build up of pollen and gunk from forest we live in. It kept deck dry and new looking, even with snow piled on it.

Amusing that amazon has a "sheerness" rating on a solid black plastic sheeting.the thicker ones make for great protection as dropsheets or light blocking. However again, the thicker the plastic the harder it is to work with solo
