About this item

  • Comfrey Leaves: Comfrey leaves (Botanical name: Symphytum officinale) are high-quality, perennial herbs from the Borage (Boraginaceae) family, native to Asia and Europe. The plants promote good soil conditions. The dried leaves are often mixed with various essential oils for topical use.
  • Versatile Uses: Comfrey is commonly used as a salve and added to lotions and hair rinses. It is not recommended for consumption. The plant’s high phytonutrient content makes it a great addition to soil for flowers, trees, and shrubs whether used directly or as a liquid comfrey compost (LCC).
  • Robust And Beneficial: Comfrey has a mild, cucumber-like scent, with bitter undertones.
  • Resealable: Our stand-up bags are made to keep our products as fresh on the last day as they are on the first. These bags are resealable, sturdy, and great for easy storage and easy access. For best results, store in a cool, dry place.
  • About Us: Owned by stores and organizations that buy and sell our products, Frontier Co-op has been a member-owned cooperative since 1976. We support natural living and our products are never irradiated or treated with ETO. We're committed to the health and welfare of the environment and everyone producing and consuming our botanical products.

Used to infuse into some oil for my skin. Smells so fresh! Excellent quality. I haven't tasted it bc that's not what I purchased it for.

Salve was made with beeswax and coconut oil; very very legit. Pain disappeared after 1 week of daily use. NOT FOR CONSUMPTION PURPOSES. Not edible can’t make a tea 🙅🏽‍♀️

This is too expensive for the size. It should be a bigger quantity given the price we pay on here for this type product. I’m not 100% happy with my purchase. I also haven’t tested the quality of it yet.

I make salves and balms using comfrey and this is a high-quality supplement to my home-grown supply. I love that it’s not too finely chopped, and works well for my needs. A great value.

I got 1/4 in the bag, so cut inch and half long .I've no way of sending it back.Because I don't have a printer to print out the receipt. That I paid for this if it happens again.I'm a little bit disgusted such a waste.

First of all...I adore this company. They can be a bit pricey at times. Yet...if you know anything about anything now days. You understand why many natural products that are excellent quality are higher in cost.If you don't mind pesticides, poisons, mixed ingredients, stems that shouldn't be in a product, etc...etc...then be my guest to buy cheap.Yet Frontier has always exceeded others in my opinion. Most herbalists, including myself. Use their products when we either can't grow our own or have run out of our own because we know the quality of this company and what they offer. From customer service to the product itself. This bag, is small but can be purchased in bulk. Usually, my health store carries the majority of Frontiers products as far as herbs in bags & some jarred herbs. Unfortunately, this was a time they didn't and I needed this particular herb right then. I try to buy from locals when possible or straight from the websites because another tip...if you sign up with most companies. You'll get discounts & special news on the latest.I'm thankful for Amazon though because if I had ordered from the actual website at this point. I wouldn't have received the product for almost a week. Amazon actually delivered less than 2 days after ordering.Do your research on this herb if you aren't aware of her true benefits. You'll want to start buying all that you can find.
