I love this style of backup camera, it has a single pole so you just need one hole. The pole slides in with the wiring in the middle, and a C-shaped nut tightens it down from the inside. It also has a consolidated harness that includes the RCA-stype composite end to run all the way up front to the head unit radio. More on that at the end (I wasn't expecting it).We installed this on a 2011 Camry, which actually offered the PERFECT installation point. The Toyota emblem is fastened to the car as a piece of plastic trim which is easily removed from the trunk. Once we took it off, it was a matter of drilling a hole in the center which would give us a view right over the license plate. It's plastic, not metal, so it was easy to drill and no concerns about rust forming around the point. We then used on the holes for the clips to feed it into the trunk with ease. No metal holes to drill at all! What a perfect view, too! Note how it is so wide, you can even see the bumper and part of the plate in the view! Easy to tell how much space we have between the car and whatever is behind it.Also, can I comment on how sharp the silver housing is? Unlike some of these which only have black options, the silver actually matches the Toyota emblem and other markings on the car. It looks factory installed, I couldn't be happier with it!NOTE: I mentioned above this has a consolidated harness. I've installed a lot of cameras in cars, and they are all pretty standard usually. But this one has a slightly different setup than I was used to: Instead of having a long yellow ended composite cable SEPARATE from the camera harness that it plugs into, the camera harness IS the composite cable. In other words, they consolidated and made this one long wire to bring to the front of the car. I had already run a wire because we put the radio in before ordering the camera and I already closed up the dash. So we had a yellow video wire already waiting in the trunk. Rather than run a new cable, we just used a RCA-to-RCA coupler and attached the two yellow cables to each other. Zip tied all the extra bundle of wire together and put the trunk liner back in to hide it. Worked great, but that's something to be aware of. I like keeping things standard so that in case I decide to change anything, I don't need to run new wires through the car!

Montaggio semplice.Qualità dell'immagine buona ma non centrata.Per vedere l'immagine quasi dritta sullo schermo la telecamera deve essere montata storta ma non risolve il problema al 100%

I have ordered this camera in search of backup or front camera with a clearer and brighter at low light condition. Unlike other backup cameras I tested, this camera is encased in a weighty metal case with shiny black finish, and looks and feels like a very high-quality camera. It is designed to mount vertically facing down by drilling a hole and with washers and a nut, thereby looking down rear view in 45-degree angle. The mounting scheme doesn’t provide much of adjustability of camera angle once mounted. Most importantly, I was disappointed with the image quality, which is okay but a bit grainy not crystal-clear as claimed, and even grainier at low light condition.Manual doesn’t mention the purpose of the three loop wires, but these loop wires are mentioned in the product description page. There are three different control loop wires-white, green and orange. Its functions are:• If you need the parking guide line, cut the green wire/loop, if not, keep it• If you need the front view camera, cut off the white wire/loop• If you need the front view camera without parking guide wires, cut both the white and green wires/loopsAmong the three control loop wires, the purpose of orange loop wire was not explained. I assumed the orange loop wire is for either CVBS or AHD format selection, and it worked as I assumed. My CarPlay screen is AHD, therefore I left it uncut(default). Most backup cameras with loop control wires work instantly when disconnected or connected without powering down the camera, however this Epronic camera needs to power down after a change before it displays the changed mode.In summary, I liked the nice heavy-duty metal casing in this camera. For image quality and other considerations, this Epronic backup camera in my opinion is not as good as other cameras I have tested. I expected better performance considering its price.

This is a pretty universal camera for vehicles. Commonly uses would be for a backup/rear-view camera addition or replacement. You need to connect this to a screen/car radio to actually see a picture. The kit contains instructions that are ok. Not overly descriptive but enough to help you get things wired up.It also has a very long RCA style cable, which is necessary to connect the radio/lcd screen of the vehicle. This cable was more than enough for my relatively short Jeep Wrangler. The car has an aftermarket Sony lcd radio that has the RCA female plug for adding a camera. Every application is probably a little different though.I didn't complete the installation so I cannot speak to picture quality and night vision. Installation is not necessarily hard, but will take more time than I've had available. Although being an "HD720p" camera I expect it to look decent on screen as far as video goes. It is also "wide angle" so I'm confident it'll cover the back of my ride no problem.I can say that the camera is small and hefty. It feels solid and has a little weight to it. The chrome body/housing looks great. It feels like good quality and looks like it is durable. I'll update the review once I have some time with actual use.

Small footprint and with a small diamter 4pin connector, I didn't want to make any big holes to get wires from outside to inside the car and this backup camera worked out great. It was a perfect size for my license plate light, I didn't want to drill into any metal panel and then have to worry about rust and touching up paint. The camera fit my license light via a tiny hole for the mini 4 pin connector. The camera is housed in a heavy metal case, where the angle is not adjustable so, if you need it to look at a certain angle, you'll need to be creative and use wedges or shims.
