We live in Alaska and our hardware stores have us as a captive audience. We found these here and saved so much money. They glide perfectly. But caveat ,my husband and I are pretty handy especially him , you need tools and know how to make drawers out of nothing and to install them properly. We added many drawers to existing cabinetry. They came fast and work great.

The Friho 6 Inch Hardware Ball Bearing Side Mount Drawer Slides have proven to be a perfect choice in upgrading my drawer system. I recently purchased these slides to change my son's dresser drawers from wood rails to full extension, smooth slides.First and foremost, the ball bearing mechanism ensures smooth and effortless sliding action. The drawers glide open and closed with ease, providing a satisfying and reliable experience. The ball bearings also contribute to the stability of the drawers, preventing wobbling or sticking. I appreciate the consistent and reliable performance these slides deliver. It's a real difference from before the installation when the drawers were only reliable to pull out to about halfway before they sagged and eventually would fall right out of the dresser itself. My young son was not game to mess with these things, so we needed to do something to make the dresser usable.I had to do some MacGyvering to rig the drawers to work with slides as it was an old piece of furniture, but the slides were the easiest part of this conversion. The mount design makes installation straightforward and the necessary hardware is included. The slides feels sturdy and durable, and I have confidence in their ability to withstand daily use. My son even leans on the drawers a bit when picking out clothes and they've held up just fine with that added pressure.The quality and performance for this price is amazing. With some of the name-brand options, you'd be spending quite a lot more for basically the same product. These are quality.If you're in need of dependable drawer slides without breaking the bank, these Friho slides are definitely worth considering!

I like these, they work just fine. a box of 10 sets is heavy and not always packed well by the amazon shippers. but so far they have always arrived fully functional.this is a really great price point for this quality... I can't wait to build more drawers!

I recently just purchased sets of 24" and 22" Friho drawer slides for a kitchen project. I went with Friho again as I purchased a set 3.5 years ago and they have been working flawlessly since. In 2018 I built my daughter some bedroom furniture. She was 11 years old at the time, she is now almost 15. I mention this because you can imagine the use and abuse a preteen/teen will inflict on just about any piece of furniture. Everyday they get pull out, yanked and slammed! The drawer slides have worked excellent over the past 3+ years and I have never had to even adjust one. When first installed they can be a little stiff, but do break in and roll just fine either way. I took a chance 4 years ago and Friho has not disappointed. Good quality, durability and the price is far better than box stores and cheaper than Amazon's best sellers and choice. These drawer slides are built quite solid and as most of these type slides, they are easy to install and operate well. They are not self closure type, but other than being a bit slight bit noisy, they seem to function very well. Only chose to give 4 stars mostly due to the somewhat stiffness in operation, and certainly the packaging could be improved on. All in all we must like them because we just purchase a second set of ten and will probably purchase more.

I first bought 10 pairs 14" long to build a custom storage unit. The drawers are wide (26") and hold roughly 30-40 pounds each. These slides handle this just fine. There is a bit of side to side sway on full extension but well within my acceptability limits. I bought another set of 10 to complete an 8 foot long storage unit which also sees quite a heavy load. Again, no issues. My final opinion- they have unbeatable price/quality point.I used 14 pairs - no issues with any of them.If you are not careful when you re-attach the drawers after unclipping them, make sure that you don't accidently catch the end of the roller ball cage as this will deform them and potentially release the ball bearings. If you find the drawers hard to slide after installation, most likely your drawer is slightly too wide - user error!If when you slide the drawer back after re-clipping the slide in, you find the drawers don't slide all the way back, just press harder and force the drawer all the way back. This will get the ball-bearing carriage into the correct position, after which the drawer will slide normally. This is only necessary sometimes if you unclip the drawer to remove it.Oh, and screws are included. They are 1/2" particle board screws which works fine for 1/2" drawer boxes. The plywood I used was only 0.4" (10mm ply) and the screw length was marginally long and did break through on some boxes. Again, user error.
