I thought it was a defect, but Frigidaire actually told me that it's designed to not open the lid of the washer for 5-8 minutes after it is done and beeping. Not only that, but it will stop for unbalanced load and TELL you to fix it, BUT it won't unlock the door. It will keep beeping to tell you to fix the unbalanced load but WILL NOT let you do it. You have to let it keep beeping for 5-8 minutes before the door FINALLY unlocks. Nothing is moving at all. But it defaults to making you wait. It will beep to tell you it's done washing but NO, YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OUT. I'M JUST GOING TO KEEP BEEPING TO TELL YOU I'M DONE BUT YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ALL THE CLOTHES IN AND WILL JUST KEEP ANNOYING YOU WITH BEEPS FOR 5-8 MINUTES. I'm an engineer and I'm embarrassed by this engineering team.

We've had this washer/dryer combo for 2 years or so and have replaced the mixing valve, a plastic gear at the bottom, and today i have to buy the main control board. What a lemon. Avoid it.

Model #FLCE7522AW3, purchased at Home Depot, 13 months ago. Dryer stopped working, and washer does not stop running through the spin cycle. Had to manually shut washer down.Repairman says the fryer problem is the main control board. Cost of replacement, parts, labor $600.00.Does not know if this will also fix washer problem. Another diagnostic charge, and repair separate from dryer repair.Missed the 1 year warranty by 1 month. Both Frigidaire and Home Depot will not acknowledge that this practically new machine is a LEMON!We paid $1,200 for it 13 months ago. Now we will have to buy a new machine at an additional cost of over a thousand dollars!!We are so disappointed in Frigidaire and Home Depot, who will not stand up to their products.We are seniors, and feel like we're being scammed by everyone.

It is very loud. It is still very new. Sounds like a fan is working hard?It is tearing holes in my clothes even on the gentlest setting.The top is very high and the bottom is very low so unless you have long arms, it is painful to get the clothes out. My arm is always sore from straining.It often has trouble balancing load then it will stop and no amount of rebalancing does anything. So you have to start the wash over.The censors are touchy. They will keep the machine from working. Safety yes but the censors suck.We rent this. I can’t believe how expensive it is. It is horrible. Do not buy. Seriously.It wrings out the water very well when it works but probably why it tears holes in clothes.

I installed this in a bedroom closet for a disabled friend who could no longer head to the basement to do laundry! He no longer has to depend on someone else to do his laundry. Really improved his self-esteem!

This washing machine/dryer unit are the worst appliances I have ever owned! Below are the dot points to support my review.1. It beeps incessantly when your load has finished, both washer and dryer. Seems like it beeps forever2. Just after I had had the unit for a year and two months the dryer would not work appropriately. The cheap plastic part where the dryer door shuts was broken.3. There is a plastic cap in the washer drum that comes off when you’re unloading the laundry.4.. If you have to use the spin cycle again it does not have an option just to spin, you have to do a rinse and spin and waste water.5. Every time the washer load is unbalanced, you have to wait 3 to 4 minutes for the door to unlock. This is extremely annoying. If you don’t rebalance it correctly the first time, you spend significant time wasted waiting for the lock to unlock and trying yet again.6. The wash cycle does not even unwad socks so they remain dirty.The ONLY positives on this unit is the washer drum is large andThe unit implies that it is quiet, and I support the fact that it is quiet.If I had a bat I would take it to this appliance. I’m extremely disappointed in this Frigidaire. Is there a lemon law for this??

I love the looks of the items...I just got it in a couple of days ago. They did not deliver it upon my deck as I had asked so I have to call & get help. We struggled but got it moved in. When I removed the BOX/PACKING I noticed a dent in the washer on the side. I do not like that. I know we did not dent the side as we used heavy blankets and was very easy with getting it inside. We are going to try this weekend to hook it all up. The dent has me upset somewhat ...Later date: We find more dents in the product..Very unhappy about that. Do not feel I will ever order this kind of product like this again.
