Easy to use temp monitor. To start this device you just push the button for 5 or so seconds. Once started, it tracks the time and temperature. Once done you can just plug it into a USB port on a computer (mine runs Linux Mint OS). It displays a .pdf file with the time and temps (only in degrees Celsius) and a .csv file which has time/date and temperature in both degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. I picked up two temp monitors and used them to track the difference between the outside temp monitor and the temp monitor in the crawl space. Very nifty onetime monitors for a low price.

Nice that it comes with everything to get started. Seems to be pretty accurate against my own manual measurements. Small size, easily portable.

These little temperature loggers are awesome! Very simple to use despite the instructions on the label being wrong. Turn it on my holding down the button for 5 seconds. There's a 30 minute recording delay which is somewhat annoying depending on how you're planning on using these. Turn it off by plugging it into your computer to generate the log as an excel file and a PDF. Holding the button again for 5 seconds does nothing despite what the directions say. I also have a Frigga M2H which is reusable and customizable using the Frigga software on your computer. If you're not trying to fit these loggers in tight places, the M2H is the one to get (unless you're worried about losing it, it's more expensive). It's just bigger.

I'm a woodworker, and to sharpen tools scary sharp the best way to do that is use Japanese waterstones. However, you need to keep them in water. Therefore in the shop I have three Tupperware containers with three different grit waterstones. One of them is a very expensive stone made from a certain quarry in Japan. It is pricey because it is so rare. Unfortunately, if that water freezes, it can crack that very expensive stone. This winter when we leave for an extended time, I want to know if my partially heated woodshop stayed above freezing. I'm going to use one of these. For only $10 that's a bargain. Once you fire it up, you're good for either 100 or 200 days logging, depending on the logging frequency you set. So obviously, I can't test it out till I use it, because once started, you can't turn it off. I will re-evaluate when I use it. In the meantime, since Frigga seems like a professional high end company, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt up front and for NOW, give it five stars.

These are two 100 day disposable temperature loggers, the came wrapped in plastic and with an instruction card. The card really doesn't have instructions, it has a QR code to get the instructions, but it takes you to the U-1 model instructions and this is the U-2 model. I was able to find U-2 specifications, but not instructions. On the back of the logger it says to hold down the power button for over five seconds to start it and the OK light will blink. This is correct. It also says to hold down the power button for five seconds to turn it off and the alarm light will blink. This is incorrect. So, no instructions at the QR code link and the instructions printed on it are incorrect. I can't really recommend this device even if collects the data and allows me to download it because of the problems with the instructions. Hopefully it will create a CSV file as indicated and allow me to get the readings via the USB connector which is what the instructions say for the U-1 model, maybe it will operate the same way.

This review is for the Frigga 5 Pack USB Temperature Data Logger.I have a low temperature freezer that does not reset after a power blip or failure. There have been times when the food was fine and other times when everything was ruined. I have a thermometer in the freezer that will send data via Bluetooth, but when there is a power failure that does no good at all.My hope is that the Frigga recorders will help me evaluate the freezer contents after a power interruption. Since receiving the Frigga recorders there has been no interruption, and I can't say the recorders work. Because they are single use, once the data is read out the devices no longer function.I will give Frigga the benefit of doubt and award four stars until such time as there is a power incident.

These devices are difficult to begin using and did not log or track temperature as a result. After multiple attempts to use these I could never get them to give an accurate temperature reading/recording and the date and times were not accurate as well. Instructions were not clear and covered two different models that had different operation and functions.

This logger is a trivia to use stand alone data logger that you simply turn on and place it where you want to log the temperature.I turned it on and placed in my refrigerator at first since I wanted to see if it was maintaining a consistent low temp, and it was. Then I removed it to take it to work to examine the data, and lost it in my car. It is VERY small (about the size of typical car key fob) and slippery. I thought it was gone for sure. I finally did find it and the data it collected showed the story in the attached graph. The opening days showed my fridge was doing okay. They you can see the spike when I left it in my car and the rise and fall of day time temps in September. To read the data all I had to do was plug it into the USB port of my computer. The data is presented along with the chart as a PDF and all the raw data is also stored in a CSV file for further analysis. Since this unit goes up to -30°C ~ 70°C ( -22°F ~ 158°F) you can use it for monitoring many things like shipping containers, areas of a home exposed to different factors and so many other things. At this price it can be for serious work as well as experimenting.
