3/8" Radius Rounding Over Bit with 1/4" Shank
From the Manufacturer
Freud's precision ground carbide bits have a grain size smaller than other grades, and titanium is added making them impervious to chemical attack. Promoting safer woodworking is the reason Freud made a commitment to develop anti-kickback router bits. Bits are computer balanced to insure vibration-free operation at speeds that are a safe margin above the typical 22,000 RPMs of most routers. Freud's philosophy is woodworkers should expect safety, not pay for it. Over all diameter: 1-1/4-inch, large radius 3/8-inch, shank diameter 1/4-inch.

Good price and makes nice clean corners, ran it through 11 oak stair treads and it still seems plenty sharp.

Freud nunca decepciona, he probado con otras fresas qué dejaban marcas por calor hasta que probé estas que el acabado es limpio

Used this to roundover the edges of a bunch of MDF panels. It's real easy to use. Produces nice and consistent roundovers. Is now my go-to bit for all panel edges. Excellent tool..

Have used Freud bits before. They tend to cost a bit more than others you can find around Amazon. But from my experience, you're paying for sharpness and how long it takes to dull out. I needed to put 1/8" Radius cuts on the edges of a slab of HDPE. Didn't even feel the tool cut the material, and the finish left behind was near polished. Very happy & satisfied with how the cutter handled, still looks like the bit was never even used. Can always recommend paying up for Freud bits on finish projects!

Love this bit. Blades are nice and sharp and it leaves a great finish. I would gladly recommend it.

Cuts beautifully even with hardwoods that have a strong grain pattern. No more raggedy edges.

Unreal! Just unreal! It cuts so good. I was nervous to use it it's huge but you can't even feel it cut its baffling. I've been seeking out the best of the best and this takes the cake for quality. Didn't even catch at known to catch spots on the work I do. 🤙🤙🤙

I’ve gotten their blades for other tools and just got a router so I figured I’d try them out. As far as I can tell they are good quality but to be fair I don’t use them as much as someone who is always building stuff. But from my experience and the price I’m very happy with my purchase so I bought a flush cut and one of their other bits and happy with all of them.

It edged through cherry, birch, walnut, and mahogany hardwoods without hesitation. Very happy with its sharpness, smoothness, its fourth blade, and build quality. Pricer than others (just for one bit) but it feels like it’s going to outlast the cheaper ones. My only complaint is it burns/toasts the wood in a few spots. May be user error. I could be moving the router across the edges a little too slowly, however light sanding removes 98% of these burned spots.

I decided to upgrade some of my router bits. I needed the 3/8 roundover for a project using several exotic woods that were prone to chipping. I used the Freud bit and had no problems at all. All of the cuts were smooth as glass. I highly recommend this Quadra cut bit!! They cost more, but well worth it when you're working with expensive wood. I hope it lasts a long time

Works great. Sharp blades, no burning on walnut. Used a ridgid handheld router with this 1/4 inch round over bit. It cut through walnut effortlessly without any burning.
