This is not my first FresKaro carabiner rodeo (I have bigger locking FresKaro offerings in my collection). These are handy little quick attachment/release gate clips. There are smaller versions of this, but I followed a review's advice and got these slightly larger and higher load rated ones. That was good advice. They are beautifully finished and should be more than enough for the light applications I intend - keys, and light hanging gizmos (like lanterns and even clocks). I would never trust my life to a wiregate carabiner. They are perfect for some applications, but not everything. It's all about quick attachment and release and light to moderate duty. Yes, they are rated for moderate loads on the long axis, but never compromise on climbing or gear safety or go near the stated limits. You have plenty of options with locking gates and specs. These are very nice and functional items, and I am very happy with them. It's a decent brand and good product at an affordable price. There, that's the whole story.

Sturdy and gate works well. Just keep in mind that these are NOT meant for climbing

These are nice wire gate carabiners but what surprised me more than it should have was how small they are. Apparently the only models that are actually rated for any kind of heavy work like climbing are some of the larger locking carabiners, which are nearly 4 inches on the long side of the "D". With those, I can get all four fingers through and hold the long side. I usually wear medium or large men's gloves. With these, I can only get three fingers through to hold the long side of the "D" shape. Apparently these are really only meant for use with accessories or possibly holding a single-person hammock (if you are not too heavy). Honestly, I wouldn't really use them for that kind of purpose. But they work fine for clipping some boot chains onto my hiking pack. There is an even smaller model that is just under 3 inches in size, those are really only meant for something like keys or maybe attaching a 5-10 LB rolled up extension cable to a wire rack or something. They are actually a bit small for larger hands to even get the gate open without fiddling with it. And the hook isn't large enough to really engage with the wire gate under any kind of load. So the mini carabiners are more for being cute than anything practical (other than keys). These, on the other hand, are just over 3 inches long, but much thinner and weaker than real climbing carabiners, and I wouldn't put more than about 50 LBS on them for any length of time. The manual clearly states this model is not meant for any sort of climbing use. The hook does at least seem to be deep enough to engage the wire gate end loop, so they should hold up with some moderate weight long term.

Carabiners for everyday use, traveling, camping, road trips. These are a great size and versatile. I have found them to be high quality and robust. They haven't bent or given me any trouble and I have had them for months already. The spring is strong and the clip style is one I really like. A great price for the pack as well!

These are heavy duty, and easy to use. I traveled recently, and put these on all my bags, just in case. I also have one on each of my purses to hold my keys so they don't get lost in my purse mess, ha. These are great for all sorts of convenient uses, and I appreciate having them, just in case. I keep one in my car, utility drawer, garage, etc, for my go-to-just-in-case-you-never-know-when-they-will-come-in-handy moment, lol.Great buy!!!

Se sienten muy robustos, aun no los pruebo para confirmarlo... pero al menos al tacto y vista creo que si lo son
