When I took the unit out of the box I immediately noticed it just feels solid. That's a good start. Without having anything at the moment that needs to be drained I decided to just test this out in my pool.At first I was just pumping the water from the pool, with the hose going right back into the pool. It works, but I can't tell how much it is really pumping. So I got a five gallon bucket and seriously filled it up in under a minute. Amazing.I like the auto mode, which could come in handy if you have a low area that regularly needs to be pumped. If this pump lasts a good length of time it is totally worth the money. Will update this review if anything goes bad before it should.

I really like this pump! It does all it said it can do.I have used it right out of box to pump 2-50 gal rain barrels into my 275 gal IBC storage tank. Where I live, we have been on stage 4 water restrictions and now I can water outside without breaking the law!Hallelujah!

We have an in-ground pool that has been winterized and I thought the pump we needed was this type - to remove water from the cover. Nope. This says "pool" in the description but not for removing standing water from the cover. This is a legit sump pump. If we had a basement this would be great. We don't. I'm not sure if we can use it for something else but it's a quality product from what we can tell. It's heavy and solidly built. It has a good sized cord and hose adapter. We'll keep it and see what else we could use it for.

We don't often struggle with water problems but it does happen occasionally, and when it does getting water out of the basement can be a real pain in our old house. It's been pretty wet here lately but we we're staying dry, then a couple of days after this pump arrived we got another 4" of rain on top of our already saturated soil and started having problems with water ingress. Not only us, but everybody we know who has a basement likewise did. This pump seems like the best solutiion for removing standing water off the floor. It will suck the water level down really low. If you set it in the deepest part of the water it does well over 95% of your cleanup and whats left can be mopped up and dried with fans. It has a backflow preventer valve so water doesn't leak back when the pump shuts off and with over 28' of lift it doesn't struggle to pump up from the basement. This is not a 'trash pump' of course, you can't set it in the bottom of murkey water full of leaves and stuff and expect it to drain that as the intake will get clogged. However for pumping out pools, hot tubs, flooded basements and such it is a good tool to have and the price is economical enough that I'd consider it cheap 'insurance'. The brand name is unfamiliar to me so I can't speak to how long it will last but it seems to be well built and in my case, where it will only receive intermittent use, I am glad to have it on the shelf.

I am absolutely impressed with this 1/3HP Submersible Water Pump! The 550W motor delivers outstanding power, with a flow rate of 3022GPH that allows me to clear out flooded areas, pools, and even my garden pond quickly. The innovative flow sensor is a fantastic feature, as it lets me drain water to an ultra-low level of just 1/25 inch without any backflow – perfect for getting every last drop out of flat surfaces! The pump is super easy to use thanks to the dual modes—automatic and manual operation—which let me set the water level precisely between 5 and 9 inches, depending on what I’m working on. The 25ft cord is more than enough for most jobs, and it comes with several adapters to make hose connections a breeze. The pump's thermal overload protection is a nice safety feature, ensuring it won’t overheat during prolonged use.Whether it's draining a flooded basement or just clearing out my pool, this pump performs reliably every time. It's made with high-quality materials and can handle debris up to 5mm, which prevents clogs and keeps things running smoothly. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a powerful and versatile water pump.

Great little pump. I hooked it up to my 50 ft garden hose and got quite a bit of water flow as you can see in the pic. It comes with a water sensor that automatically shuts off the pump at the level where the sensor is located, it is not a float switch. There are mounting holes for the sensor on the side of the pump which means that the minimum water level is about 4 in. If you just let the sensor dangle unmounted then the water level can be lower depending on where the sensor happens to locate itself. It is a conductivity sensor relying on the electrical conductivity of the water to sense the presence of water. I suppose you could put a metal clip or something between the sensor electrodes but then there will be no way for the pump to automatically shut itself off. There is no option for using this pump in a manual mode without the sensor. To test the sensor, I pulled the pump out of my pond and it turned the pump off in 10 to 15 seconds.

I used it for my summer cottage to connect to a water holding tank that feeds two sinks and a shower with propane heater. Provides great pressure which I adjusted to about 40 psi. I purchased a backup if I need to swap out down the road. Pump is fairly quiet too.
