I was suprised that it worked for the price. You do need to watch a utube video which helps you program it.

This is a great little counter. It comes with no documentation at all. Looking at the circuit board there is a 7805 linear regulator on board so I connected it to a 12 volt source and it poweres up fine. Don't go over 16 volts though as the on board caps are 16 volt max rated.The system comes with 2 sets of connecting wires that match the two jacks on the board. Be carefule as they have the same connector but the wire color on each is diferent. Look at the board and make sure you have the red wire on the + terminal and you will be fine. The other connector is for the RF input. I just added a couple of feet to the red wire and when positioned near my CB this picked up great.
