I actually got this not for scooping fries but to help me get food into those vacuum seal bags...and it works great for that. I would have such a hard time trying to hold open those bags to fill them. This is just what I needed.Works great for scooping fries, popcorn, candy, ice and many other items....and getting them into bags/containers.
