Worked great for my use. At marina with spotty wifi. Wanted WiFi temp sensors. Bought cheap service thru Tello. Hot spot was about $ 20 and service costs me $ 5 per month. Very satisfied and have peace of mind

Like a few ppl mentioned in the reviews the SIM card was expired. I’m very glad I knew that in advance and purchase a separate SIM card. The setup to connect it to my cell was very easy. BUT plz do better with these SIM card. It expired 2023 and it’s now 2025 🙄

I have T-Mobile service and when I go camping with friends I’m always the only one with no service, I bought this hoping it would help. I should’ve known when I connected it at home and only had one bar that when I was at the campground it would be just as bad as my normal signal strength. And it was. 5 days in the wilderness with virtually no signal. Very disappointing.

It doesn’t work. You can connect it but it won’t work you won’t have internet and at a certain amount of time like a few months you will have to pay it I think it might be a monthly payment.

I recently purchased this used T-Mobile hotspot and overall, I'm very happy with it. However, when I received the device, the SIM card was expired, which was a bit of a disappointment. I had to go to a T-Mobile store to have the SIM card replaced, which was a minor inconvenience.Once I got the new SIM card, the hotspot worked flawlessly. It has a strong signal and provides fast internet speeds. I've used it for streaming videos, gaming, and downloading large files, and it has handled everything without any issues. The hotspot is also very easy to use. It has a simple interface that makes it easy to connect to the internet and manage your settings. I also appreciate that the hotspot is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry around with me.Overall, I'm very happy with my T-Mobile hotspot. It's a reliable and convenient way to stay connected to the internet on the go. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mobile hotspot.Pros:Strong signalFast internet speedsEasy to useSmall and lightweightCons:SIM card was expired when I received the device

I got this to set up some Wi-Fi cameras at a property that is vacant due to a death in the family to keep an eye on it. Unfortunately, some poor software design choices make unattended use problematic.1. If it is run without the battery and there is a power outage, when power is restored the device will remain in a powered off state requiring manual push of the power button to turn it back on.2. If it is run with the battery installed, the device will eventually get upset about this and display a message to disconnect from power to avoid over-charging the battery. If you don't do that, it will shut off, again requiring manual intervention. To work-around this, I set up a smart outlet that removes power periodically throughout the day so that the battery is sometimes charging. That's a cumbersome work-around that shouldn't be necessary. A better solution would be to run without the battery and connect through a UPS -- also a complex setup that shouldn't be necessary.
