Not the prettiest ball but I wanted a distinct ball so that I can easily identify it when playing with others. I really like that the pump has space to hide away the needle in the handle - it's a clever design that solves a big storage issue I had with my previous, now broken pump. Really great value with this ball.

My 13 year old loved it from the start but the 16 year old hated the texture until the ball was broken in enough to wear the outer layer just a bit, a few weeks of regular use.It was kind of fun that it came deflated in a short rectangular box. Purchased as a Christmas gift, so I had set aside boxes as they arrived until wrapping time, and for a while just assumed it hadn't gotten here since I hadn't seen a large square package. I had really started to worry when the account showed delivered with no sign of what I expected a ball to look like. Fun shock for me on wrapping day, lol. I later had a great time teasing him as he kept going back to shake the wrapped box over and over in the remaining days leading to Christmas. Definitely kept him guessing what he'd asked for in that shape!

The pump shown was missing the needle to pump up the basketball rendering the pump useless. I had to buy a new pump.
