I have a X4 360 camera and a TG6. I really wanted to film me scuba diving. However, I don’t have a lot of dives so I’m not ready to focus on holding onto and positioning a camera. I thought I could just strap the camera to my face. Hit record on the surface and only have to focus on it not falling. I could also put a strap from the camera to my shoulder just in case it did fall. I read a lot of reviews and thought I’d take a chance on the Octomask even though it was bit pricier. The other’s seemed much cheaper made, per the reviews. The Octomask is made for a GoPro but my X4 cases fit into the mount of the mask. It did move a little bit but this was resolved by applying the little sticky circle things that came with my X4 to the waterproof case. The camera totally stayed on during 5 dives just great. One time it moved forward, pointing the camera down instead of straight ahead. I felt it happen and moved it back into place just fine. I loved the point of view of the 360 videos and it was easy to convert those to normal videos easy because it moved along with me. The one drawback with the 360 video was if I turned all the way around the video showed my forehead. But it’d work great for 180 or normal video. After having it for 8 months one of the pins fell out that connected the mas k to the strap. I couldn’t find the pin. I contacted Octomask customer service. Within a day they got back to me and are sending me a new one. I loved the mask and the customer service. The only thing I don’t like about the mask is it seems like there is no way to change out the silicone strap. The strap is great for a silicone one though.

It's been great to have this mask for my trips to the pool with my kid who is learning to swim! I take videos of her and show her how she looks and what she's doing well and what she could do differently. Also love it for the ocean, easy to see and stays put on my head without having to re-set it a bunch. Super light even with the mount on the top.

I bought these for my snorkeling trip to key west, for the $$ I didn’t have high hopes but was really impressed with the fit and quality. The only complaint (and it’s very minor) is the mount for the camera is close to the mask and can make it tight for certain mounting screws that go pro have used. But that is almost negligible

I've been on the hunt for a good dive mask for a while because I have a large face and this mask fits me perfectly going on for years with this mask and never have had any problems. The field of view is perfect and clear, the GoPro mount is perfect no movement in it no matter how choppy the water is. I would 100% recommend this mask to anybody who enjoys the exploring our beautiful ocean. I'm sure it will last another four years.

I bought this for my honeymoon in Hawaii and was pretty excited to use it, the mask fits nice no leaks, overall a great mask! Now when I put my GoPro onto the mask it worked perfectly GoPro didn’t move to much and I thought it would work, well I’m now on my honeymoon and I hook up my GoPro to snorkel and my GoPro is moving up and down and not tight, it’s unfortunate because it seemed like a good product until I needed it!

So let me start by saying, the concept here and the mask are both amazing. The mask fit really nice and was comfortable. I'd give it six stars but for one issue I had, I used this when snorkeling, and the camera sits just high enough on the mask where my camera is going in and out of the water as I float and look around. It's possible that I did not put it on correctly, but the camera sort of sits behind my point of view, so I'm not sure how to change that. Once I was done and got the video on my camera, I was massively disappointed that so many video clips were in and out of the water and not useable. Again, this could have been something I did wrong so if someone has a suggestion I'm all ears, as other than that, this is an amazing invention and a well built mask.

questa maschera per immersioni ha il principale scopo di montare la gropo e quello lo fa bene, tutto il resto è un assoluto disastro. Faccio immersioni da più di dieci anni e MAI ho avuto a che fare con una maschera che si appannasse SEMPRE. Non importa che temperature, non importa che trattamento gli si possa fare alle lenti interne.Inoltre la cornice che dovrebbe aderire al viso è fatta di una gomma cosi sottile da far entrare sempre acqua a meno che non si entri in acqua senza muovere un capello. Veramente un prodotto fatto male.

Love this mask! It takes some getting used to to get the angle of the camera right, but the quality of the mask is excellent. It fits nice and snug to my face and it does not leak.

Good quality facemask and Go Pro attachment works perfectly. Used it for four dives off Tionan Island in August.

I personally have had a so so experience with this mask. It leaks a very slight amount but that is easily fixable mid dive. It was never an issue so no points lost there. However after multiple dives between the 80-100ft range I've found that this mask presses again the area of my face/forehead directly between my eyes between my eyebrows. It's been 3 days since my last dive in Florida and that area is still sore to the touch and I found dead myself trying to adjust the mask mid dive to no avail. I feel as though I'll have to find a new way to bring my GoPro with me as the discomfort isn't worth it. Overall I'm satisfied as this product works as intended. I do not by any means have a large head, smaller than most, but this guy just doesn't work for me. Still a good product. Well made, holds the camera well. It can be tricky to pick the angle you need to really capture your subject and can result in chopping off heads or feet, but all in all I was happy while using this mask. The pain is my only complaint.
