this was the perfect size for holding my cross stitch. I am able to use a slim fabric to protect my working fabric and they are easy to remove but hold the fabric well.

This is a great product. It’s surprisingly sturdy. I was worried that it wouldn’t hold the canvas tightly enough, but it does. It’s super easy to assemble and hold, no snagging of threads, and doesn’t crimp the canvas after you take it out. My only complaint is that the inside working space is a little small. I bought the 6x6 size for a 5x5 stitched project, and I had to take off and move it around several times to access all parts of the canvas which was annoying. I am, however, still going to buy another one for a larger project. I just know to buy a few inches larger than the actual canvas.

I initially bought the 6inch and then decided I needed a bigger one. It's fits great in my hand. I'm not having to re position my cloth to continue with design. Way better than wood hoop. More area to layout design, and not have to worry about rounded corners on cloth.

Love this frame! Came very quickly. Only trouble putting it together was having to switch out two of the pieces by pulling out the clear plastic piece and putting it on the other end. Works FABULOUSLY. Started stitching on linen and was using nothing since I hate the marks that form with the hoop. This frame holds my project perfectly and with a twist you can tighten or loosen the tension. There is no snagging of my floss on the smooth edges. Will buy the larger set soon.

Great little frame for cross stitching on the go. Also works well for larger pieces where working on a larger frame may make it too far for your eyesight. This frame is lightweight, easy to hold and doesn't leave the circle creases as the hoops do. Can't imagine working portable cross stitching projects without my little Q-snap now!

Take my review with a grain of salt as I am a new cross stitcher but I love these frames. So far I have used these and plastic hoops and the Q-Snap beats the hoop by a mile.I am finding the frame holds the Aida fabric snugly and if it does loosen up a bit, it's very easy to give one of the sides a twist and it's taught again. The very best thing about working with these frames over a hoop is that I have something to hold onto other than the fabric. I hold on to the plastic of the frame and totally avoid getting the fabric dirty with oils from my hands.

This small sized frame is perfect for doing crossstitch and embroidery. The plastic is light weight so it is easy to hold on to for an extended time, and is not heavy to carry in my tote bag. The frame holds the tension tight so you get even stitches. It is a "snap" to put together and stores easily. For most small projects this frame will work very well. I use it when doing cross stitch with high Aida so I can see a small area at a time to work on.
