Name brand replacement. Takes 5 minutes, don't pay the dealer $50 labor to do this. Great product.

Provide car make and model and year to assure proper fit. A clean filter, I was told, was necessary to maximize fuel efficiency. Very easy to change out on your own thanks again to YouTube.

Perfect fit for my 2013 Mazda 3! I have learned over the years that knowing your vin ID # (mine is 7) not the whole VIN # ensures you buy the correct items for you car. In the past I didn't realize the fine ID detail (even further than engine size) made such a huge difference! There are so many options and differences in just a 2013 Mazda 3, so it's worth adding that detail to your garage when searching!

An exact fit, and an easy swap, on my 2017 Mazda 3 Touring (Japanese version). Build quality and thickness appears similar or better than the OEM version. For the newbies, yes, the engine air filter replacement is under the hood, and your hands are going to get dirty. But Mazda has made it really easy -- nothing needs to be removed, there's no loose screws or other parts. Watch a video, and you can do it in under 15 minutes (it took me about 5). Not bad for saving major $$$ at the dealer.Pictured with the OEM part after 2 years use in the Mid-Atlantic (average mileage). Pictured front and back. Note the level of dirt was definitely ready for replacement, although Mazda says the filter can last up to 3 years / 36K miles. At the third-party pricing, it's worth replacing the air filter annually. There are some options cheaper than the FRAM, but I noticed those others didn't have the full frame design the FRAM and the OEM filter both have. Since the filter is under pressure the entire time the car is running, it needs to be sturdy. I've also good experience with FRAM air filters on my previous cars.If you're even slightly handy, this is a DIY car maintenance item you can absolutely do yourself. Recommended.
