Awesome keeping warm while out ice fishing! Highly recommended this! Easy to assemble! Easy to follow instruction to follow!

Pretty nice unit. It would be WAY easier to install if it were done before the tent was put on the tub. As a retrofit, it takes 2 people to install unless you have 4’ arms. All in all a nice product, warger washers would be nice, but the ones that come with it are adequate.

Drill a smaller hole so you can flip over and put nuts on with power drill. Much faster. Seems to glide on snow much easier than before. I like

They take a will to install correctly but will increase the life of your shelters bottom.

Had to trim about 6" or more from the back of sleigh when fitted to my aegis 2000 but that's no biggie, rather it longer than shorter. Had to use a heat gun to mold the front to the contour of the sleigh. No biggie. However, the washer kit comes with 12 large washers for the inside of the bolts ( front 3 on each hyfax to shape the curve ) and 18 small ones for the remainder flat section. I would have liked to have all the washers large instead of the smaller ones to help secure the hyfax better on the inside. Also, the hyfax are predrilled to accommodate the bolt head (10mm ) yet it should have use a flat washer between it and the teflon hyfax otherwise if you overtighten the nuts on the sleigh side it will pull the head of the bolt through the hyfax. For the cost of more washers ( 30 smaller and 18 large ) it would have been a perfect kit that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

A little time consuming to instal but if you have a friend to help it becomes much easier. One good trick is to instal these prior to assembling your new shanty. A whole lot easier without the extra bulk

Price was good. Installation on a Frabill Aegis 2000, by myself in minus 10, only took an hour. As others have suggested. The washers are way to small. Supposed to come with 12 large washer, three at the front of each runner, but only came with 4. Bought 28 more large fender washers at a cost of 7$. Used the small factory washers on the hyfax under the bolt and the “purchased separately” large washer inside the tub. The nuts and bolts are a bit tiny, but suffice. Rating would be a 5 with large washers, larger nuts and bolts, and if the hyfax were cut to length. Solid 4/5. Keep hyfax warm and it is fairly easy to install the first 2 bolts at front to make the curve. Progressively drilling and installing bolts from front to back. Hut was already assemble, stood up on end and installed 2 runners from the left and 2 from the right. Clean holes with the drill are key to install nuts on the bolts. For sure I would buy these again. In comparison. A friend ordered a factory set for his equivalent 2 person Clam. His set only came with 2 runners and were an inch short in length and won’t protect the hut where its starting to wear through already. And they cost him nearly 100$. So my advice is use Amazon and buy these. A much better product and save yourself 40$.

Wow, what a difference these make. I installed them on my Frabill Trekker 2 after many years of use in an attempt to save a worn sled, and they fit very well. Makes me feel a little silly for waiting so long to buy these. Seems to reduce drag by about 50%, which is significant on a long hike bundled up in heavy ice fishing gear. They should help me get a few more years out of this sled before. The only drawback- the fasteners are about 1/4 inch too long, and could potentially damage things inside the sled like the tent fabric, beverage cans, auger handles, etc. I've considered replacing the locknuts with acorn nuts.

Excellent. Fits PERFECT!!! I see a negative comment regarding it not fitting on a Citadel. If you look at the explanation of the item it is for the 6180 and 7080 which is the predator series. Not the Citadel, so if you purchase an item that is not designed for your specific shack I would be prepared for it not to fit.

these are very nicely made runners, smooth and well finished and pre drilled for easy install in about an hour. I have the Frabil Aegis sled but was worried these were the wrong ones as i need the 1638 sku but the Amazon description says 1640 for the larger Preditor sled in the additional information section, when you look at the 1640 sku its says 1638 so i figured they just messed up the listings so I took the gamble as i figured i could cut down the longer ones if they did send me the 1640 model but i got the right ones. I have the Rapala runners for my pull sled and these are much better made, good sharp smooth edges, just need the snow and ice now but i cant see nothing going wrong at this point so while not field tested i feel safe to say the quality, packaging and install all met my expectations.

These are easy to install and save on your shack. I had my shack for one year and it always pulled hard on the early ice. It also showed lots of wear on the bottom. I installed these in about an hour. I heated the ends up with a torch and formed them up about 5 inches in the front to help it slid better on the snow/ice. (just like the picture shows) Shack now pulls with one hand all loaded with auger and gear. I also put them on my kids big black sled they use behind the 4 wheeler in the winter. It should make that last forever !! Get them you won't be disappointed.
