I just purchased a few different deep throat calipers and out of the bunch, these are the best I've ever used. I bought them from Tool Topia and these are really heavy duty compared to every other brand I've owned and/or tried. I build Driveshafts with these and more specifically, I measure tube diameter with them (2" - 5" and a bunch of different sizes in between). The other set I purchased was the ATD 8660 and the biggest problem was the Lower (sliding) Jaw rocks on shaft making it nearly impossible to get an accurate measurement where these are a perfect fit with no excessive play in the sliding jaw at all.

I got the rotor gauge with one anvil instead of the twin one. seller said he didn't carry the twin conical anvil gauge and the sku is wrong on amazon.com
