Works well, but not quite American 1/4 inch threads. At a local hardware store, I was able to get it to fit a 1/4 inch nylon pipe thread, but only for about 1 and one-half turns, before it got stuck. Didn't want to push it any further. In any case, I was able to use it in a small fountain, and it worked very nicely. I would give it a full 5 stars, if it weren't for the odd thread gauge.The other issue that I had at first was the nozzle holes are very fine, and while the resulting spray pattern is very nice, it quickly clogged up at first. But I was able to clear it out with a water pick pretty easily, and it hasn't clogged up since for a week or so. Next time I tear apart the rest of the water feature, I will probably add a fine filter for the pump, just to be safe. If you try this nozzle, I would start with such a filter the first time you set it up.

My tubing outside is about 1/2” and fits INSIDE this metal head. Works nicely but unsure what they are thinking with their measurements! Ordered the 1/2” and it was very huge.

I had a small pond pump, 300 gph at 1' rise, so I thought I would try this. It works great. Shoots center stream up about 8' with the angles shooting out about 4' up at 45*. Just what I was looking for.
