Used several of these in a pool fountain setup. After a few days they started oxidizing and loosing their luster. Chemicals may play a role in this, but not if it's 100% brass.

It’s a nice item but doesn’t look ascetically appealing after it’s been used a day. Wish there was a protective coating that prevented that. It can be polished but it still goes back. Solid piece other then the crap look

I rigged this on to my shower's accessory hose (all it took was a 1/2" "nipple" from HomeDepot). It arches the water over, like a waterfall. I like it great.
