This is OK, but I am not impressed. The screw thread is a bit tricky to get going into my Fujifilm X-T20 shutter button. Then, when I push the lever to shoot it stays pressed - to release the shutter button I need to pull back a lock ring (which was not explained and took me a bit to find out). So, taking several shots in sequence is a bit difficult.I used to have another shutter release where I would simply press the lever and when I let go of it, the shutter button would go back in a natural way. Then, if I wanted to hold the shutter button for a longer time there was a small screw or a mechanism at the lever that I could use to hold the shutter button pressed. This Foto&Tech cable will do its job for now, but if I find my old one I will go back to that one.

Worked perfectly with my Canon AE-1. My only complaint is that the button unscrews very easily and it has fallen off in my camera bag a few times.

It took me a few seconds to work out the lock. But this release works well and is compatible with any threaded shutter button. I use it on my old Pentax film bodies when they're tripod mounted.

Does what it's intended to do. The threads feel a bit cheap, but on a whole it's a well made product and works exactly like you'd think it would.

It takes a moment to figure out the locking mechanism, but then all is well.

Works good on my Fujifilm X-E!. Got stuck when I first tried it, but it was easy to fix. Little screw was a tad too tight. Turn a little and working great now, and all less than 5 minute fix..

I bought this for my Nikon FM2, and it does not work. The screw is too thick, so when you try to screw it into the socket, it doesn't go in all the way, and the plunger doesn't depress the shutter release. I'm not sure how this will work on other Nikon cameras, but for now I'm going to buy the official Nikon AR-3 mechanical shutter release. One extra star for build quality.
