Solid product from a trusted name.Many people would benefit by placing surge suppressors on appliances, with today's electronics on all appliances it makes sense.This particular one though would not work for a refrigerator in most cases as you need a model with side outlets and not forward facing outlets as the refrigerator will not back up against the wall as well. Anyway, using this for a washer and I have a different side outlet brand/model for our refrigerator.

I use this for my electric fireplace. Not sure what all to say about it. It hasnt had any issues and my fireplace turns on. I havent needed to check the surge option yet
