Installed these in both my bathrooms. Just set it, and the fan goes off after the desired time. Easy to install; a nice little night light feature is also included. I would definitely recommend them.

I have two in the house now and need to install two more but will need to get a different brand for our on-suite as the switches are outside the bathroom facing our bedroom. The blue light is great in the bathrooms but would be to bright being in a dark bedroom.Other than the blue light not having the option to turn off the switch is easy to install and works as expected.

Follow up Review. These switches continue to work well one month after installation. The usual hassles are encountered in that one never knows what interesting wiring exists inside the electrical box that houses the switches for the lights and fan in rooms with an exhaust fan. Take care by using all safety measures and liberally seek help from a professional qualified electrician if needed. The vendor supplies a jumper jumper for the installer to bring the required neutral to this switch. The ground wire must be used and the installer needs to identify the hot wire and the load wire and place them in the well designed and labelled terminals on the switch body.Another reviewer complained that the blue LED light on the main pushbutton switch was offensively bright. This is not so. Make sure you do not intend to use this blue light as a night light or you will invite injuries especially if guests use the room in the dark.I have no hesitancy in recommending this digital timer switch, however time will tell me about its durability.

Very nice timer unit, although just know that there is not an option to bypass it and turn it on indefinitely until you would manually shut it off later. To turn it on and select your desired time you simply press the always lit, blue button at the bottom, and toggle through the presets until the one you want lights up, which is also the process you would have to do to manually turn it off, early, if desired. In other words, you'd have to press the button enough times to toggle to the off position. (Yes, there are other units that have individual buttons for each selection, including an independent on/off button, in case that's important to you.)As for the wiring, a thorough diagram is included both on paper and on the back of the unit, itself. There is also a slot on the back side to set your length of stripped wire for the plug-in option that the instructions presume you'll be using. Each terminal has a couple holes to plug your wires into after you first loosen your screws all the way to then firmly tighten-up, after you've inserted the stripped wire ends into the holes. They also provide a short length of white wire and a wire nut for your connection to an extra neutral or two, if needed. (If more than that, you'd need a larger wire nut.)Often times, the plug-in method, using the holes instead of pinching your wires under the screw heads will not give you as tight and secure a connection, which I found was definitely the case, in my application, even though I'm using 12 gauge wire, so I went with hooking the wires around the screws and pinching them under the screw heads. As for the wiring configuration, a switch is only meant to break (open) or connect (close) the connection in the lead to load wire which will be the black wire if you are wiring new, or it will be the wire that is separated by the old switch, if doing a replacement (which should also be the black wire unless you have really old wiring, or something installed prior by a novice). The terminals will be gold for the lead and load (black wire), silver for the neutral (white wire) and green for the ground (bare or green wire) in the typical situation. If you are doing a replacement, you may only have two wires and not have a bare or green ground wire which is only there as a back-up in a ground fault situation, so your timer switch should still work fine, albeit without that extra level of protection that is now actually code, and a good thing if it's available.I'm using this timer to power 1875 Watts worth of heat lamp bulbs (they're actually only drawing about 1802 Watts, 15.4 Amps and 117 Volts, when measured) with no issues. (The unit is powered by about 70' of 12 gauge wire directly from a 20 Amp breaker in the main electrical panel.)

I settled on these specific brand timers after researching many for my bathroom fans because they have the multiple small minute increments (5, 10, 15, 20) I was looking for at the right price. I prefer small increments because I will never run my fans for more than 20 minutes max (after a shower) but most often only run them for 5 or 10 minutes (other business). Though I cannot speak to longevity, I like the function of the switch and it appears well constructed and solid. The blue light is very bright (cannot be disabled) as a night light in a bathroom but may be bothersome in a bedroom. However, I implemented a perfect solution in my master bathroom. I had a roll of 1/2" wide white electrical tape (perfect color match) and cut a small piece to straddle the blue light. One layer, still very bright. Two layers, better but still illuminates large bathroom. I may add a third layer which will likely be perfect. I like sleeping in near total darkness so very miniscule light in the middle of the night on a trip to the bathroom appears very bright to me with my night vision at full tilt and I never turn lights on.In other areas of the house (powder room), hall bathroom, garage, laundry room, hallway, etc... the brightness will not be an issue for anyone and is a benefit as you can navigate in the middle of the night without turning lights on if you have these in other areas of the house.I will say there appears to be a quality control issue/design flaw with one aspect of these switches. Behind the translucent switch button which illuminates blue, there is some sort of structure/piece internally that appears as a black shadow behind the switch (this definitely is NOT a burned out LED as another reviewer thought). This is okay and does not affect function. However, on one switch (I bought the two-pack) the shadow is almost centered in the middle of the switch. On the other switch the shadow is noticeably offset to the left. This reflects some sort of inconsistency in the manufacturing process unless this particular switch is defective internally somehow though the function is fine.I installed both of these myself a week ago and am so far satisfied with them so much so that I just ordered another two-pack to install in my other two bathrooms because they were down to 17 left in stock. If they run out, who knows whether they will get any more. I wanted my four bathrooms to all have the same switch. A neutral wire is required.Installation, if you have some electrical skills and a few common tools is very easy. The time-consuming part after you install the switch is taking the switch cover plate on and off multiple times to adjust all the screws that affix the switches to the junction boxes if you have other adjacent switches behind the same cover and you want everything to fit perfect, level and have the cover be flush against the wall.I am very picky about this type installation and use a small bubble level to get it exact, don't like any gaps between the back of the cover and the sheetrock all the way around and want the fitment between the switch bezels and the cover plate to be flush and consistent between all adjacent switches. I also set all my screws horizontally for consistency and appearance (OCD).In the two photos, the one with three switches has the white electrical tape over the blue light, hence the dimmer appearance. At this early juncture I will recommend these switches. I like them so far.My friend has Leviton LTB60-1LZ Decora timer switches in his two bathrooms. They work well, have no constant on light, less minute options and currently cost around $31/each. You can buy four of these for less than the price of two of those. If these last, that's an easy decision. They are BOTH made in China!Update 05/09/2022 - All four timers functioning normally with zero issues. I really like these!
