Bluetooth uses the ATS2853 chip, the latest version 5.0, its range is up to 50ft that is very easy to build a 2.0 channel system. The Bluetooth function can ensure higher sound quality and transmission stability. [Please note that the BOX X3 preamplifier is a Bluetooth receiver only.]
With treble and bass adjustment, the sound is a more delicate, compact, and powerful internal layout. The design of phono preamp BOX X3 brings you different enjoyment.
The Fosi Audio BOX X3 can be used as a MM turntable preamp or a tube preamp for an amplifier. It is with active speaker output, which forms a 2.0 channel home theater system. Designed with grounding posts to protect your turntable.

Fosi Audio BOX X3 phono preamp pairs with 5725W vacuum tubes that will provide the best possible audio listening experience. All tubes pass a specialized life test and an audio sound test to get higher durability and life.
The power supply 12V/1.5A has performances such as short-circuit protection and overload protection. Effectively reduce the impact of AC input and ensure the amplifier's performance and safety.

Works great, easy to connect both with Bluetooth and wireless. Clean, warm sound. Great quality for the money. Compact and functional. Analogue volume, bass and treble.Just make sure you install the tubes properly, pushing firmly but gently.

I have an older Onkyo HT-R520 Receiver with no phono input or preamp. After installing the Fossi X3, including RCA in (to Fossi from phone) and out (to TAPE connection on amp) along with the ground (from phone to Fossi), Bluetooth from the iPhone to the preamp worked flawlessly. However, the 45 year old Thorens turntable had so much loud humming that the music was barely audible.After swapping out RCA jacks, still had the issue. Decided to do something maybe a little unconventional. I ran another ground wire from the Fossi X3 ground (leave the ground from the phono in the Fossi) to the amp chassis screw (scraped the paint to insure connection). PERFECT!!! Problem solved.I will say that the bass push from the preamp is intense and has to be turned down, so you have lots of flexibility for as much bass as you want. Keep in mind the Bluetooth is for INPUT only, not for outputting to Bluetooth speakers. This unit is a preamp to an amplifier. Sound is warm and crisp. Amazing. Listening to a 52 year old America album and I am blown away by the sound quality.

Pennen van de tubes staan soms wat scheef willen daardoor niet goed in de houder. Branden dan na 1 of 2 dagen door.Hoop dat dit snel opgelost wordt door Fosi.Verder werkt het apparaat goed als de tubes heel zijn.

This product is adequate, but it wasn't much of an improvement over the internal preamp of Audio Technica AT120 turntable. It sounded too harsh, and the tone control couldn't overcome its short comings.I ended up purchasing Cambridge Audio preamp, and I am very happy with the upgrade.

I bought this to upgrade from my built in preamp in my turntable, this gave me control of eq and better sound. Is it worth $80, maybe, I have it at 5 stars because so far it’s doing exactly what it needs to be doing, only time will tell if it’s worth it. It does look cool though if I’m being honest.

It's an attractive and solid-feeling unit. Sounds good. Volume, bass, and treble are smooth, and nice to have. It's a noticeable improvement over the built-in pre-amp on my newer turntable.I've enjoyed the Bluetooth feature - a great way to connect Apple Music to my old Sony receiver.

I needed a phono pre-amp, and while my receiver has the capability for bluetooth connection with phone, laptop, etc. the sound quality was really unimpressive. I saw lots of options for pre-amps, and lots of options for bluetooth receivers but not a lot of devices out there that did both… until I noticed this affordable unit. Fosi audio seems to be pretty well regarded in the budget audio community, so when I saw this little box I figured it was worth rolling the dice. I’m glad I did.This pre-amp added warmth and character to my vinyl AND the bluetooth connection was a huge improvement in sound quality over just connecting directly to my receiver.For the price what more could you want? I will say even with the volume dimed you’re not getting a crazy amount of gain. If you have the option on your receiver to boost the input, you might want to try that.With treble and bass controls and dual functionality of phono AND bluetooth capability, and given the fact that this little box takes up almost no space I’d say you’re getting significant bang for the buck. It will let your vinyl really sparkle and bring some warmth and dimension to whatever device you’re streaming via bluetooth which might sound sterile otherwise.I’m not sure what else you can get for this price that will deliver results like this in both sound quality and functionality for your system.
