I crimped these onto some T grade welding hoses and did a leak test and they are not leaking at all and have continued to work as they should. Highly recommend. I keep a few extras around now.

I did not have a crimping tool so I used gear clamps instead. They are tough to slide on, and for good reason so heat the hose ends in hot water for a minute to help sliding them on. Soaping the barb will also help.

Went to my local welding supply shop to have some oxy-acetylene hoses shortened and amazingly they told me they had the fittings for the oxy lines but NOT for the acetylene. That sent me to Amazon and found these right away... A YouTube video showed me how to install them but also showed that I would need crimping Vise-Grip type of pliers to crimp the ferrules (bought the crimpers on Amazon too). High quality product... Very satisfied.

I couldn't find a hose with a "A" fitting and a "B" fitting on the same hose, so I had to make my own. The hose repair kit is what I needed to get the job done.
