In order to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you must take batteries out, put them back in and LONG hold the start button instead of just pushing it once. It will then change to Fahrenheit.

It’s hard to navigate the usage because the instructions are not clear. It never said if you just point or rub it on forehead

This thermometer does not work. Checked mine and my sons temp both said 97.6 and when I got to ER with my son his temp was 101.00. I put new battery in it and tested it against two other thermometers and it never gave and Accurate reading. Don’t waste your money!!!!
