Installed on a 2018 Focus ST after getting a P1450 code and check engine light.Installation took maybe 20 minutes but would have been faster a second time. I also realized you don't need to unbolt the bracket, the bracket slips off and you can just take off the new one and leave the old on the car. This also comes with the clips that hold it to the engine but you can reuse those too (one of mine was broken so it was nice to get these to have some spares). The part fit like the original. My check engine life didn't go off on its own but after clearing the code it hasn't come back on.

Stock, 2014 focus st. Authentic ford product, easy installation, and great price. Car runs and drives so much better now.

Got this thing lightning fast! I’ve been having the typical idle problems and rich-lean-rich-etc running condition showing up on my Accessport. If this fails or doesn’t fit when I try to install it, I will come back to change the review, but for now it showed up like the second it was ordered. Lol

Solves the purge valve issue. Part was more expensive than usual I guess they raised prices due to fact that this part is backordered. OEM Ford part and solved the stalling issues after filling gas tank up.

2015-focus st. I have been battling misfires on startup for 4 years now. Fords fix was to gap the spark plugs bigger. No use. Finally got a 02 and fuel tank code- it was this evap line which was a recall and I was cleared and checked for. Since I was cleared they couldn’t do a recall and would charge me labor and part price. I did it myself in 10 minutes. 4 years of misfires and a blown engine and this was the cause.

Shipping was moderate took about a week to get here, the part is genuine, only thing is that it did. It come in a Ford sealed bag. Install was very simple put my purge valve was stuck. Installed in around 20 minutes, started perfectly, the car seems happier, the idling is no longer all over the place after refueling. Way better to go DIY since Ford dealerships around my area are a joke right now.

Had the dreaded code P1450 on my 2016 ST. I’d heard Ford dealers charge up to $400 to diagnose and fix. After research, decided to replace purge valve myself since it’s cheap and seemed easy to replace according to a couple videos. Had to remove air tube and a couple other connections, but went in in about 30 minutes. Having small thin fingers will help. Hint: new tube comes with metal bracket attached. Just remove and use original bracket already bolted to engine. Have had installed about a month now and after clearing code, it hasn’t come back. This appears to be an OEM Ford part.
