Inner Rod seal did not fit properly allowing the fluid to leak out as bad as the old cracked seal.

For my 3862513 cylinder, it works, but the rod seal is 16 x 24 x 4mm which should work, but not optimal. It should be 16 x 24 x 5mm.I actually got the correct size from a local shop. The other seals worked fine. I think the large thick O-ring is for a different model.If you are doing the work, make sure you have a cotter pin removal tool along with your other tools to remove the unit and don’t reuse the cotter pins!!

I read a lot of bad reviews on these kits and i was a little intimidated to do the rebuild. It went flawlessly. Had old seals out in 20 minutes and had it back together in 10 minutes. Seals were flexible and went right in to place. I probably could cut the rebuild time down to 10 minutes total if i had to do it again, no joke. I've used boat 1 time so far and no leaks. Removal and install of actuator was in a 2001 Formula 330SS and that took about an hour to do each.

seller said it would fit a 3862513, main seal fit loosely but i went ahead and installed it leaked as bad as as before, then i had to take everything apart. Don't buy for this model.

This does not work for the inner seal for the accuator ram. It’s too small and leaks it does not do it’s intended purpose. The actuator needs a 16x24x5 u seal.
