I liked the mounting method of this rail, so I ordered one to try out.My rifle is an old MAK-90 that has a thin mounting flange for the factory rear sight, so once I remove the rear sight I was unable to get a really good fit on the receiver using this rail.Nevertheless this is a nicely made rail that will likely fit just fine on Russian or Romanian rifles with a thicker mounting flange, so still a nice design and good features, especially the little red Tru-Glo style sight tubes.

Build quality seems great, comes with all parts necessary to install. Fits what it is supposed too. Scope attached to it without any problem all works just as it should.

This item didn't fit right on my AK-47, the spine was too thin. That said, as a pure rail it seems fine.

…..it isn’t too difficult to remove the rear sight on an AK, and since that is the case I’m concerned as to just how solidly this mount will fit. There are two screws at the front of the base that obviously provide tension so in theory this should lash up tightly.I will report back if I encounter any issues, but a bit of loctite on the screws is probably a wise idea.

Just got this Low Profile Rear Sight Rail and mounted it on my AK-47—right off the bat, this thing is solid.
