I was very intimidated to make this purchase, however.... I DID IT!This was a very hard purchase, because I was terrified to attempt this! But, I am so glad and grateful I did!It was a task, but everything I needed was included and the instructions were on point. It took me about 30 mins, a long with YouTube videos. I am truly pleased!Oh, let me make quick note, the only additional tool I used was my craft heat gun. But, I believe an everyday hair dryer would work just as well for loosening the glue on your phone....

Followed video instructions on you tube as suggested, used frame as suggested and removed all pieces carefully to install in new frame and screen, all went smoothly, battery is glued in pretty tight but a little warmth and rubbing alcohol worked well for me as others have done. if you have a moto g 5g (2024) this works perfectly just pay close attention to placement of parts before removing, just think puzzle pieces when removing from old phone and placing in new phone, also buy some B-7000 adhesive don't need much but you will use it, also take your time, i do possess mechanical abilities and start to finish took me 6 hours, well worth it considering i was being quoted 140 to 170 for repair and the phone cost me 200 new.

Unfortunately, I was not able to replace my screen, because I did not have the tools to remove the backing of the phone. A heat gun is kind of necessary. Since I did not replace it, I cannot not testify as to the quality of the product. However, the screen also came with a tempered glass screen protector, fit for Moto G 5G 2024, as well as a set of prying tools and small drivers for use in the repair. In my package there were three screwdrivers--two six-pointed-star screwdrivers and a small Philips. In addition, two prying chips and two prying sticks were included, all blue plastic. To open the backing initially, I think that a metal prying blade is likely necessary, but the provided materials should be sufficient for the internal working. There is a lot of glue holding things together, so alcohol or something of the like may be necessary. Putting it back together could require glue, but if great care is used, the structure holds everything together anyway. Except the backing. The screen looked right, but I cannot verify that it fits right, without having tried it.Instructions are not included.

The ad claims anyone can do this, sure if you have the right equipment in addition to this kit. It does not look easy or worthwhile. These phones are relatively inexpensive, my time is worth more than struggling with this and the cost of all the proper equipment.
