The screen is more fragile and the screen protector is noticeably less durable than the original screen. The screens will both crack if in your pocket with keys or a hard wallet. I rate this product a 5.9/10. Face ID doesn’t work after installation but the screen itself and tools are worth the price. The process of replacing the screen was straightforward with the use of YouTube (ifixit), tedious work due to the size of the internal screws that come with your device. Metal key ring on suction cup is a little fragile and will bend too much due to pulling the screen up, but it still worked. The screen protector is very durable itself, as of now.

It is a nice kit for an affordable XS Max DIY screen replacement. Everything one needs. I don't know if it is the fault of the screen or IOS 18, but the flashlight and camera icons don't work on the lockscreen anymore. And it seems like it doesn't want to wake up by just touching the screen. I have to use the side button to wake it up. Unfortunately I upgraded to IOS 18 at the same time as installing the screen so i just don't know which is to blame. But otherwise i am happy, and it makes super sharp images.

First off this isn’t a paid review. Im not a vine reviewer and this was a genuine purchase to rectify my busted xs max screen. No freebies here.The screen is a decent replacement with decent tools but with a not so good screen protector but hey, that’s not what we’re here for. With these aftermarket replacement screens manufactured at the rate that they are, there’s going to be a percentage above or below the standard deviation of quality. More often the latter so what really shines with this seller is their willingness to stand behind their product. Contacting them about an issue they were quick to respond, almost immediately. They understood the issues I was having and within the first message exchange were already offering solutions.tl;dr Technical details aside they stand behind their guarantee and should you have issues contact them first and you’ll more than likely have a similar positive outcome.

It was a bit godly but that is only because the screws on the iPhone are so tiny. It came with a magnetic mat to help you to keep all the screws and other metal parts from getting lost and all tools needed were included. In all, it took around 30 minutes to disassemble and assemble. Not bad for someone who has never taken apart a phone before. The screen functions just like the original but at a fraction of the cost if you were to purchase an original part.All I can say is well done to the company hat developed it and thank you.

This is an update to my previous review of my iPhone 11 screen purchased from SIMDOG back in May of this year:The initial screen sent to me was installed by an Apple Certified Technician and right away had a many problems which required constant reseting of my iPhone.The folks at SIMDOG reached out to me after my review and promised to make it right.My first impression of the product was that it was the poorest quality I had ever used for a replacement screen when in reality what I received was a defective unit. I apologize to the good folks at SIMDOG for being quick to judge based on a single issue.However, after following through on their promise to make things right, I could not be more pleased with the replacement item which works absolutely perfectly, but more importantly the professional attitude and great customer service I received resolving this issue. I will definitely use SIMDOG again when I need to replace a screen on mine or my kids phones.Customer Service means everything in this Online Purchasing World and SIMDOG delivered in a big way in my honest opinion.Thank you for handling my problem with professionalism and care,,,MikePS-Due to time constraints, I installed this screen myself! Great install directions and the process took less than an hour-works perfect!!!This screen is easily the poorest quality aftermarket screen I have ever purchased. I have bought many after market products for mine and my kids iPhones over the years. I don't believe I had a single failure. This product was installed by an Apple Certified Technician who told me not to expect much out of it. He was right. I have to reset my phone multiple times per day to be able to scroll or type or search for contacts.I'm sorry,,,the quality is just not there,,,especially for the price paid!
