The battery on my wife's i-pad pro was discharging way too fast. Since it is several years old and I think I checked all other options, I decided to replace the battery. The installation went well. waiting for results.

Going back same day as arrived. Anti-static bag opened had staples to hold battery in what was left. Adhesive was just @4” long double sided tape that had been cut from a roll.

Unfortunately not a successful repair. Install went very well by following online video, no damage during disassembly. Starting screen removal and inserting new battery were the hardest parts. Heat gun much more effective than hairdryer to loosen glue. Using razor-blade to start the screen lifting helped.My iPad had suddenly died and was unable to turn on/charge, I was hoping it was the battery but new battery was no help.I would buy again if I knew the battery was what was needed to be replaced.

Device didn’t work at all with new battery. Tried the sellers advice to take battery out of safe mode, no change, still nothing. I tried to save money by diy but ended up with nothing but a paperweight.
