Installed this at home, very easy to do with the supplied tools. Initial tests had no issues to report. Two days later with some in-depth use, I’ve discovered a vertical portion of the touch screen functionality to the left of the home button doesn’t work. Fine everywhere else. This causes me to have to change the orientation of this iPad mini 3 to overcome issues with typing and interacting with the Home Screen. Overall, it’s worthy of three stars.

Perfect. This is the digitizer to buy for your iPad mini 3. Before this one, I bought another one on Amazon called, "MD0410 Screen Repair Kit" and it was very fragile and cracked immediately. Also the home button didn't work as others mentioned. I tried t bend it like someone suggested in the Amazon reviews but it still didn't work. Rather than asking for a new one I just ordered this JPUNG digitizer and it works great. Super stoked to be back in business again.

Received the screen and promptly started the install. Overall if you’ve done something like this before, this screen install won’t be surprising. This screen does have added mounting adhesive - making the install easier - where other manufactures don’t include it.That’s where the good in this review stops. For my iPad Mini, this screen seems to work for just a few touches, then requires the screen to be turned off and back on to continue using it. This pattern definitely makes using the tablet nearly worthless.Pay attention to the other negative reviews with a consistent theme - I overlooked them and regret it. No way I would buy this screen again.

works great, used a bit of the included adhesive roll and put pressure on it by setting a 1 gallon bottle on top of it overnight and ive got zero issues!

Great customer service! My daughter broke her ipad and I decided to replace the broken glass screen by myself. The instruction included is pretty easy to follow and customer service is excellent after the first product was replaced immediately because the item I got is not responsive and they send to me a new one that works perfectly. Now my daughter is happy again with her ipad.

The first one they sent didn’t work and they sent me a new one. I was able to fix my iPad screen but finger print is not available anymore.I am happy with it because I was going to throw away the iPad because it’s screen was cracked.

Removed damaged screen, kept the included home button and carefully installed new glass. One corner doesnt want to stay glued down, but that's not a big deal since I put it in a case anyway.About 1-2 days later the new home button completely stops working, never to work again. Enabled on screen home button in accessibility.A few more days later, the touchscreen randomly stops accepting input. Lock/turn off screen and turn back on, touch works again. a few minutes later the process repeats. This is an ongoing issue, the touchscreen frequently cutting out. Nearly useless iPad.Dont buy this repair kit. The components are extremely cheap and unreliable.

For never installing a new screen before I feel I did Farley well thanks to YouTube videos. The battery life is now depleted 50% fast and the screen quality when on is not the greatest
