I had to make these work. I mounted them then tightened the ratchet down on it tilted up. I had drill a hole and use a roll pin to keep from tilting up.

Bought the mounting bracket kit #F14254 to mount my SS BoatBuckles to my boat trailer in which they needed to be offset for proper installation and they worked just as I needed them too. Great product!

I have a 17’ boat and I thought these would be great to install my ratcheting tie downs at a better angle than the stock location would allow. These bent with way less pressure than I felt I needed to secure the boat. If I would have kept tightening they would have folded up to the bolt location. I’ll have to remove them. I would not consider these for anything other than a small row boat.
